Yeah I was definitely not saying I think it is the last scene either.
I don't believe that scene is the final scene at all. I couldn't agree with you more about not wanting them to give away the climax. Too many movies make the mistake of putting all plot points in the trailer leading up to the release. I don't think this is going to happen with Nolan though. As I have said, he is far too secretive for that to happen.
Great analysis too, by the way.

Yeah your analysis was really spot on. Out of curiosity how long did it take you to compile all that?
I was actually thinking about it today on the drive to school, how I really hope that "come on HIT ME" scene isn't the end.
I hate it when trailers show the final battle.
Because many trailers do that.
I can see this is the discussion that has been going on...
So I just wanted to get in on it

I think that would be a perfect scene in the movie. Except, I think it would work better for the dynamic of the characters if they have Joker do something to upset Batman (kill Rachel? please?), making Bats consider killing him. That way we can see Gordon step up as the voice of reason for the first time in this franchise, as he has done for Bats many times in the comics. Batman would then let them take Joker away, sending him to Arkham, and further solidifying Batman's position on his "one rule".

That's what I was wondering...how long did it actually take you to do that analysis???
Yeah same, that pisses the crap outta me. I hope no TDK trailers show anything from the endingI was actually thinking about it today on the drive to school, how I really hope that "come on HIT ME" scene isn't the end.

About 1 - 1.5 weeks of off-and-on work - I forget when I started doing it, but I know I had to do other stuff a lot of the time and that slowed me down a bit
Thanks for the enthusiasm, thought:
Much appreciated
I'll definately be looking forward to any analysis of further trailers![]()
I concur, great work, SirI'll definately be looking forward to any analysis of further trailers![]()
Ok, many people argue about what the Climactic Final Battle of the film will be. Every good comic-book film has a climax. I know I Am Legend wasn't a comic-book film, but it's climax was wonderful.
You'd have to see the entire film, and that scene before you can criticize it. I loved the ending. Sad, heroic, and all around good.

Spider-Man 3's was a little bit too good to be true. Spider-Man 1's was wonderful. 2's was ok. Batman Begins' climax wasn't HUGE (good thing, for this type of film).
Did I go see the same movie you did, because the I Am Legend I saw, had a terrible climax, and the movie started sucking once his side-kick dog died.
