The Dark Knight Batman VS Joker: The final Battle

He may not be a martial arts expert but he's probably somewhat good as far as street fighting goes but he still doesn't have the strength to overpower or even match Batman.

Yeah, Joker isn't even close to in Batman's league, but all you need is a reason why the playing field has been leveled. Joker shoots at RPG that narrowly misses Batman, explodes right next to him and knocks him senseless and bloody. Joker moves in to capitalize.

There you have it, an even fight.

Bats can beat ninjas, Joker ain't nothing compared to him. So let's hope it's not a hand to hand combat kind of deal. Hell, he should be able to easily floor all his thugs too. We'll see.

I want to see Batman totally kick Joker's ass in the final battle, and make a witty remark.

"You're all out of cards, Joker."

I don't want to see the Joker get completely dominated but I don't want Batman to look like a punk either.

Joker isn't really as "hands on" as ninja's though.

I think he hurts batman in other ways. Don't you, Rachel Dawes?!

I dont know if anyone has noticed. But after watching the trailer the 50 th time i jsut noticed the shot with gordan and the mayor. If you look behind the mayor u see man with jokers coat checking the pockets. Yeah i know nothing big i just never noticed . Did anyone else see that?

I had no idea that was the Mayor that Gordon was talking to :O

yup

I still have a feeling that its the final battle with the semi flipping over.

it'll start in the street and go into a empty construction site...

How the hell can that be, Joker has no skills to handle Bats? Although, I do want a villain who can before this trilogy ends.

you guys are all forgetting one key important thing in all of this. its based on a comic book. granted nolan is going for the realism factor yes. but its still based on a comic, therefore logic doesnt always needs to be a factor. watching a scene where joker goes major bada$$ and beats the hell out of batman will have all of us on the edge of our seats to busy to stop and think,"wait a tic....batman knows all these martial arts moves and trained with ninjas in acient mountains.....the joker shouldnt be a match for him."
say what you want, but when the time comes i very highly doubt any of us will be trying to breakdown and analyze every bit of the film instead of being entertained. which is of course the purpose of the comic and films.

Im stuck on if I want the fight scenes to be like BB (close up and cant really see whats going on) or just regular fight scenes where you can see everything happening. Im trying to picture which one would be better

The close-up shots worked the first time in BB, but TDK I would like to see what's going on.

yeah i hated the fight scenes in BB, they really need to fix them this time. i hope nolan knew of this when he was shooting the film.

Well the first time i saw it i hardly understood the action but around the 5th time once you understand whats going on its pretty good, its jsut very fast paste and with the constant cutting it can be very distracting. I think Nolan will improve the action although it seems still very fast paste (judging from prologue) so when we see batman and joker fight hand to hand it will be very quick most certainly and he'll just run away or something.

i never really liked that style of shooting, particularly when rehearsed fight choreography is there. I'd like to see what it happening. Nolan should re watch Raiders of the Lost Ark or something.

totally. that movie had the BEST fights. speilberg talked about the difference between quick cut fighting and his style of fighting. something about "geography" in his fights, he wants the audience to know where the hero and villians stand. i'll have to post that some time.
