The Dark Knight Batman's arsenal

We always talk about the upgrades to Batsuit and Batmobile but I haven't seen a thread that talks about Batman's arsenal so what do you want to see in TDK?

I don't necessarily want to see all kinds of different gadgets being used to jusy show them. Like what happened in the campy Bat movies. I want to see relevant ones that make sense to the story.

Smoke bombs- its in his arsenal. Ducard trained him on how effective smoke bombs can be as a weapon for distraction or cover. Bats didn't use it in Begins....so here is hoping we see him use the smoke bombs in TDK!

Extended sharp edged Batarangs- i want to see them used by Bats how he has been using them lately in the comics. He uses two....one for each hand for hand to hand combat in close quarters as slicing devices....blocking from other weapons or for throwing.

Clasps as weapons- the sharp edges on the clasps should be used more when he is fighting hand to hand for slicing.

I would quite like him to use some basic forensic equipment (housed in the utility belt, of course) like swabs, dust, torches, etc.

Oh, and batarangs need to be used as offensice weapons, repleat with "thunk" sound effect following collision with vagrant's cranium.

MORE BATARANGS!! He only used a sinlge one in BB. And that was to bust a light. A few more tossed into the hand of a criminal to make him drop his gun would be awsome. And alo smoke pellets. Toss is a few and use the cover to drop the thugs. This is a common tactic of his.

He needs the Batcave! It needs to be fully built with room for expanding.

I'm sure Wayne Manor will be fully rebuilt so you need the cave too. That was what the first film wsa missing.

Agreed with all those calling for better Batarangs than those tic tac looking things from BB,say what you want about Schumacher but he got the Batarangs right in BF

-Retractable lenses for night/binocular vision (he gave his periscope to the kid!)

Yes to both of these,i want the cowl to be fitted with Night vision/Thermal vision and Infrared lenses like in Hush

I prefer Burton's version of Batarang. specially Batman 89 one. It wass bat like looking.

I don't know, after all any evidence of that sort gathered by The Batman would be useless for the purpose prosecution, and if word of his tampering at the scene was known, any evidence gathered would be tainted and inadmissable. Let Gordon's end of the crime-fighting be responsible for that.

I envision him to be empirical in his detective work. Visiting a crime scene and thru observation, intelligence and experience advising Gordon on likely suspects, motives,etc.

Agree with the batarangs 100%. They should obviously hurt on impact, and just as the weapon they are based on, return at some point if unobstructed in their flight, but I have a problem tho with the frequent suggestion regarding razor sharp edges. Partly because it's a bit extreme for my taste, and practically because The Batman is leaving a traceable artifact behind him.

I'd like to see a bigger batarang, and some add-ons to the grapple gun (net, maybe spear ala '89). Nothing too much, though, not like diluting costumes.

Since this is still Batman early in his career, I'd like to see them keep the high-high tech stuff out. Better or different batarangs, said ninja vanish, ect...

I think that, until we get a good look at the new suit, or even a sketch or drawing, we can't really begin to guess at what he'll be using...

Good bit that i'd love for him to do that again but, pull the lad towards him and punch him in the face.
