To be cliche:
Taking the blame for Harvey is one of the most heroic moments I can think of. I literally got goosebumps when I first saw it.

I admit it, every time, I mean EVERY. TIME. I watch this scene, I see it through tears, more or less. Out of all the other superheroes I love, with Batman always being the least favorite of mine, I never ever expected to cry at a Batman film. That's how powerful these films really are.

Still holding on to his dad's memory:

Good Lord, I never noticed him wearing Thomas' robe in Begins.

I didn't either. i actually thought it was photoshopped when it was first posted. That was definitely a nice touch.

Totally forgot about that!

I guess Bruce really hasn't gotten over his parents death, at least his fathers. I mean he's STILL wearing his fathers robe after all this time. That is some deep stuff right there.

It would be nice to see him remember his mother for a change. Maybe Selina is the one who does that while Miranda is the one who makes him remember his father.

Indeed. The pearl necklace that Selina wears at the party has to give him flashbacks of his mother.

Makes me wish they stuck showing him with the black eye makeup outside the cowl so he had a touch of Ra's and a touch of Mr. J.

Bruce graying at the temples does give him a more weathered and seasoned look, and if its a Ra's nod, its a very cool one.

I think it's due to the fact that they had to make Bruce look older, since this movie takes place 8 years after TDK. I don't think it has anything to do with Ra's.

That's what I was thinking.

Maybe he just hates shopping for new clothes.

Yeah I think the gray hair is just to make him look older.

I think it's main purpose is to make him look older sure, but I don't think it's a coincidence that the greying at the temples is very Ra's-esque.

I think the grey has nothing to do with the story and everything to do with christian bale, lol.
