The Dark Knight Batmobile To Go BOOM!?

I agree where would the man's realism be @. if they used this scene so unrealistic and unprofessional but that's my pov feel free 2 disagree

I will shed a tear if that beautiful car bites the dust I get so much crap from my friends for saying the tumbler pwns the Burtonmobile but c'mon the thing is amazing and it actually does what we see mostly.
Tims car I think maxed out at 70 MPH
Noalns maxs out at over 115 mph and looks damn good doing it.

is there any proof that its gonna blow...beside the confirmation by miranda ... because i havent seen any photos or videos...maybe the guy was talking about a stunt they were doing

the new trailer will show it by the end.:brucebat:

I heard that there couldn't be a new Batmobile because it would have been too much money, yeah right,if Burton could get one for a million or two, whatever it was he spent then so could Nolan(IMO I am certain he could have got a Batmobile to his liking for a decent or good price).

I'll just say hello to the Batcycle while being content. :yay:
It looks cool IMO,doe's anyone know how Batman is going to end up going down on the building??

That doesn't make much sense at all?? Money isn't an issue.

They built three tumblers from scratch in Begins. I think that they just wanted something new in this movie to freshen up Batman's commute:woot:. As you guys can see from the trailer, the Batpod opens up a whole availability of scenes to be shot. Especially the ones where he is inside the building(s).

the Tumbler was suppose to blow up in the original movie. It was to be placed on the monorail, destroyed, and take the train down with it. You can see this "alternate" ending by playing the Batman Begins video game. The reason they changed it was because Nolan loved the vehicle so much

I've never made it that far yet, LOL. Madden takes up too much of my time.

Was it? British directors love "alternative endings", the original script that Goyer wrote had Batman abandoning it in the Narrows and Gordon using his unmarked car.

you're correct as well. The script had a few drafts with different endings

tumbler going boom?...... joker is showing somthin' on fire in the end of his version of the third trailer......

Recently I had to the opportunity to view a scene from The Dark Knight, but without the audio track, i wont say where security is very tight where i work, but it did hold some interesting spoiler material in regards to the Batmobile/bat-pod.

do not read if you dont want to get spoiled.

The sequences that they was being worked on at that time was the batmobile to bat-pod tranformation.
I dont know if this is old new or what.

Many believe that the batman builds the bat-pod from the wreakage of the batmobile, this is in fact untrue, the bat-pod is born though a much more dramatic event.

Here’s what I saw, a high speed chase, involving the joker and he is chasing a heavily swat protected Harvey Dent through the streets of gotham, with intentions to kill him, the batman is chasing down the joker (to prevent the killing) in the batmobile (tumbler).
The joker launches a rocket (al la the 1st trailer) at the vehicle that contains Harvey Dent, the batman manages to jump the batmobile (as we learnt from the first film the tumbler can indeed jump) into the incoming missile and it takes the full force of the explosion. Leaving the batmobile heavily damaged and unable to operated, taking batman out of the chase, quick cut to the batman he flicks a couple of switches in the batmobile, panels start to drop and within the batmobile the bat-pod emerges and accelerates out of the damaged batmobile, basically the bat-pod is almost like a emergency escape vehicle.
The batman is now back in the chase between the joker and Harvey dent, but to catch up he has have to use drastic measures, like blowing up stationary cars that are in his way, taking short cuts through back allies,
there is also time for a comedic moment, two kids are playing "cops & robbers" or something, it was hard to tell since there was no audio, basically they are pretending to shoot guns, using there fingers, anyway one of the kids points his finger at a car and pretends to shot it, it blows up, the kid looks at his finger, the bat-pod blasts past them.

Anyway I hope this helps answer some questions. I Apologise for the spelling errors, I’m kinda pushed for time at the moment.

You can do whatever you like with this information. call it false call it true, i know it to be true cos i've seen it.

Peace

See this big grain of salt, this what I'm taking your post with. I won't automatically assume it to be false mind.

BOOM!

from that detail... holy ****. This movie is gonna rock. I find what he says to be true but I'm not saying I 100% believe him. But I can def. see that being a possiblity.

It'd be cool for sure. We'll see if you're telling the truth on July 18th!

I would of posted my information sooner, i just had crisis of conscious, on if i should talk about what i've seen and betray the trust of a few, but i came to the agreement with myself and this part of information isn't gonna spoil what's looking to be a great film, i'm not claiming to witness the whole film, just scenes involving heavy CGI, because i dont know if your aware but the actual bat-pod doesn't work, well it does, it just doesn't turn left and right, so complex scenes involving the pod, have to be CGI for health and safety reason alone, there is a few other tid-bits i know that hasn't been released in any footage yet, but not worth revealing, so dont ask, just throw away information involving plot points.

but i promise what i've written is true and believe me its a very cool scene, though i have seen somethings involving the pod, that i'm very sceptical about, things that look cool, but kinda defy the laws of physics, but its a film at the end of the day, you can bend these rules, just a little.

now i know your lying. they interviewed the stunt driver of the bat pod its very drivable ...

It makes sense with the footage and all (we can also see in the new trailer the batpod taking narrow alleys to drive)......let's hope it's true but wait and see !!!:cwink::cwink:

yes it is very drivable if your on a straight road, but it doesn't handle well, as in left and right as i said, a bit of a stunt risk for such complex scene, but hey call me a liar i dont mind, you'll see the film soon enough.
I've got nothing to gain by sharing this information with you, so why would i want to lie and waste my time, no worries mate, it happens.

peace.
