Well first off it was George Harrison. Secondly would you gather that all kids around your age and born in the early 90's would know those most of these references? Seriously mentioning that episode of Different Strokes with Dudley being molested or who Kristi McNichol is. I'm sure many kids younger than you get those.

And it's hard to take you seriously because you voted American Dad unless you really like that show but I'm sure you did it to be funny.

I just watched Jurassic Bark.

OMG. It was the most heart wrenching thing I've watched on tv.

I never watched something so touching, poingnant and sad ever.

Futurama is a great show but I still give a nod to the Original, the Simpsons but Futurama is definitely a good solid close 2nd.

Jurassic Bark doesn't hit me as much as the finale, The Sting, or Time Keeps on Slippin', for some reason. Hell, even A Flight To Remember.

Ah, Luck of the fryish is another that tops Bark for me. Forgot about that one. But you're right, my never having a dog is a major factor. I do love the song at the end, enough to seek it out and get it on my mp3 player.

Futurama is the best show.

Simpsons was good for a long time, but not so much in the last couple of years.

Family Guy is very funny, but I'll freely admit it is a series of unrelated jokes with little connection. There's nothing wrong with liking it, as long as you realize that.

American Dad is the same, but slightly more cohesive and not as funny.

South Park has the funniest moments, but it also has many unfunny episodes. Very touch and go.



So Futurama. I love the one with the lucky clover and Fry's nephew (I'm assuming that's Luck of the Fryish).

On the same sort of note, while i love the quality of the new Simpsons along with the new opening, the scripts are really weak and seldom funny. yet i still watch. Family Guy on the other hand (for me The Simpsons main competitor) is also running out of ideas but its not so obvious it just annoys me when they fill gaps where they have nothing funny with Conway Twitty. I'm not sure who finds it funny, for me it's awkward.

Even though The Simpsons is named after the family, it'd be nice to see some weeks focus on other characters, Like southpark do where the boys make no apperence.

Both Simpsons and Family Guy lost their way, South Park became the hot topic show, and only Futurama is still the same. So I go with Futurama.

If the Simpsons was still as good today as it was 15 years ago then no doubt it would be number 1. But its been too bad, for too long to justify giving it the top spot.

Family Guy can be atrociously unfunny. They can have so much filler. South Park really nailed it, when they parodied Family Guy. And this is the thing, this is one of the difference makers - Seth McFarlene is not funny enough to come up with a way to get back at them. And really, how can he? How could Family Guy parody South Park? South Park constantly evolves.

South Park are so much more topical, smart, witty, the episodes are cohesive, well written, with awesome characters and storylines.

Those episodes revolving around Mysterion and Coon and Friends, that was like a saga. That could have been a damn film. Completely on another level, in a totally different league from what Family Guy is capable of.

South Park makes me laugh the hardest. It goes beyond that, though. Trey Parker and Matt Stone know how to write. They tell a good story while they make you laugh. Something The Simpsons used to be able to do in its prime.

1. Simpsons (At it's height it's my favorite show, right now it's not bad. But nowhere near as good as the '90s)

2. Futurama/South Park (Tied. Both smart shows, that sometimes hide under dumb humor to catch "dumb" viewers. Both are the best animated adult shows on TV currently)

3. American Dad (Underrated, LEAGUES above Family Guy. Hell, I even think it's better than modern Simpsons, but it's nowhere near as good as '90s Simpsons. Unlike FG, this show doesn't revolve around random references or shock humor like modern FG.)

4. Cleveland Show (Meh. It has occasional moments)

5. Family Guy (It USED to be awesome, I even liked the first couple seasons after the revival. But around 2008 it started to get horrible. Relying on LAME "shock" humor & ******ed stuff like Conway Twitty as "humor". People complained about the random references from earlier in the show's history, but atleast that was sorta amusing. The show is just horrible now.)

I like Robot Chicken, but I can't really rank it since I've really only seen the first season. Which is Adult Swim's fault because the first season is basically the ONLY season they have on repeats. Sure I've seen a couple episodes from newer seasons, but it's mainly the first season. It's annoying, much like modern Adult Swim itself.
