Battlefront 3 STILL in development!!

This "The Original Title was Battlefront 3 but it evolved into Star Wars Empire at War: Forces of Corruption." doesn't make any sense. Empire at War is an RTS and Forces of Corruption is it's expansion. Both released in 2006.

I'm sure LucasArts hired other developers for the game after Free Radical closed. They want to make it and they're not going let it die after spending money developing it with Free Radical. Battlefront 3 recently appeared on Gamestop.ca and when someone contacted costumer service, they said EA and DICE were involved. There was a rumor that BF3 went to Rebellion and another saying it went back to Pandemic. Pandemic closed so I guess it could have gone to one of EA's other studios like DICE. I'll try to find the link later.

Someone contacted LucasArts and someone also e-mailed EA and if it's true, it seems like Battlefront III is coming. Battlefront3.net. Also, these are concepts for some of the menus and loading screens that, apparently, came from a former FR employee.

Not that I wasn't expecting it to come. LucasArts announced their partnership will Free Radical on August 23, 2006. That's less than a year after Battlefront II was released. They obviously wanted a 3rd Battlefront. Hey, if Free Radical hadn't been working on Haze at the time (I think they announced Haze a few months before the LucasArts announcement), maybe they would have released the game before they closed.

It would be interesting if this is true and if it is, I wonder when they'd announce it.

Eh, if Free Radical was working on it, im glad they're off. Haze was garbage.

The leaked gameplay video (although some were saying it was just a concept) looked good though. Either way, they're not the ones (obviously) working on it.
