You don't have to waste money on a ghastly movie like this to see Brooklyn Decker naked or in a bikini.

^Yeah, but where else will you see Rihanna shooting a mini-gun? Amirite?

Yeah, I was never really aching for that either.

I have a feeling that this thread is an example of "Stockholm Syndrome" in action.

I'm sorry but I don't remember any Alien menaces while playing Battleship as a kid.

This movie, I think, is selling itself the right way. Even if this movie is just DECENT, it should make enough money to possibly spark off another Hasbro movie trilogy.

Cool poster. I'm still looking forward to this, it looks like a good way to kill a couple of hours of boredom at the theater.

As long as it keeps Taylor working they can make as many of these as they want. :D

i'll take transformers lite then

atleast we got Taylor and alexander and no shia and megan lol

Bikini? No, I can get those pics from online easily.

But nekkid? Heck yeah! :awesome:

At least its got Liam Nesson, I cant wait to hear him realese (pun intended) his one liner:

"You sunk my battleship, you son of a *****!"
Y´know they could´ve easily made this into a serious movie involving battleships, but of course they went the lazy way and put aliens in it.

A serious movie about battleships wouldn't be as awesome as destroyers VS. Aliens.

I think it's funny that, if I recall correctly, this movie was made because Berg wanted to do a "Navy vs. aliens" movie, but the only way he could get it made was attaching an established name. I can't imagine the line of thinking that decreed that when the title would come up in the trailer it would be more likely to make people want to see it than inspiring laughter.

I don't get why people are getting pissed off about this movie. For Pete's SAKE, the original board game had NO PLOT at all! At least they're trying to be creative with this and not make it look like a knock-off of Hunt For Red October or Crimson Tides AND they have good talent behind this in the form of Peter Berg. Same goes for the OTHER upcoming board games to film adaptations (i.e. Ridley Scott turing Monopoly into some kind of horror movie, etc.). From the stuff I've seen and read about all of these projects, I say just be glad they're putting EFFORT into these, which is more than I can say for those damn cartoon into live-action/CGI hybrid movies Hollywood keeps ****ting out, ESPECIALLY those stupid Chipmunk movies!

Personally, I don't understand why they must name this movie after a board game, instead of coming up with an unique name. Now some people will be disappointed after discovering that this movie isn't about two fleets of battleships hurling missiles at each other randomly and hope some of them landed for two hours. :o

I think people who don't know the plot will go in expecting something more closer to the board game, but they'll get pulled into the movie and decide to watch what happens anyway when they find out it isn't identical. That's if this movie's good...

im in lust with this lady even though this film looks like G.I. JOE VS THE DECEPTICONS

I guess the producers figured two fighting battleships wasn't enough to make the movie marketable.

This looks like a hilarious comedy. Can't wait.
