They're going to have to digitally remove all the senior citizens, though. Cali is obviously a 60 and under state.

And are the women going to wear those scuba diving/ waterskiing-type wetsuits with the zippers instead of the red one-piece swimsuits? I hope not. I'm already not too keen on some of the modifications to their uniforms.

Ilfenesh Hadera is Stephanie Holden. I don't think it's based on any particular season. It's just a brand new take using old characters.

Why is there not enough skin for the female suit?!

I agree, why did they change it?! I'm hoping this isn't all they wear.

In the pilot episode of Baywatch, I recall that Erika Eleniak's character tried to wear a bikini version of the lifeguard uniform but was told to change it because it was unprofessional, and that the red one-piece swimsuit was more appropriate. But now is the one-piece not even appropriate? I was hoping, if this is an R-rated comedy, that the women might even just end up in bikinis instead, not cover up more.

Blue would be harder to see in the water, wouldn't it? I thought that's why they would wear all red or sometimes red and yellow. Blue and red also makes it look less like a uniform but more like casual wear.

I could care less about color. The chick playing Stef is wearing all red, at least. The real question is what's the point of them covering up more? Unless maybe a joke will be made about how beach attendance has dropped because the lifeguards aren't exposed enough. But if we have to put up with more of this less revealing swimwear, then this movie is utterly pointless even with the tongue in cheek tone they're going for. The Rock seems to want us to be less excited about Baywatch than he is.
