Baywatch: The movie!

This would be the most ridiculously gorgeous cast (male and female) since, well the original Baywatch. And as someone who actually grew up watching it (I was one when it debuted, eleven when it ended, so I mean that quite literally), it'd certainly hit the nostalgia portion of my brain.

I still pick Kate Upton for CJ. Because while her acting is questionable and her body isn't typical, her reputation as a bouncy blonde swimsuit model is perfect for it.

It said Dwayne Johnson's playing Mitch. Not to mention in the D23 interview the Rock had talking about Baywatch, he was talking about the casting status and process as well as the challenge of looking for the new CJ Parker. Sure it could mean the person filling the role/niche with a different name but I have a feeling that they could more likely go the nostalgic route like what Power Rangers did and use the iconic names.

If the article from comicbook.com is anything to go by, I'm thinking the girls mentioned (Benson, Daddario, Dobrev etc) are all auditioning for this part which seems like it has little more talent needed:

Summer (Nicole Eggert's TV character) is the object of Efron's affection. She's a young, upbeat and naturally-skilled lifeguard that enjoys saving lives for a living. She tries to steer Efron's character in the right direction.

There's still the CJ part which would be perfect for a Kate Upton type as it seems like not much is needed and then there's Stephanie Holden rounding out the women.

If they stick to her hair color, then they'd pick Ashley Benson for Summer unless they won't care much about Summer's hair color like they probably would CJ's. Have a hard time buying any of these candidates would be Stephanie considering the age gaps, and also considering Alexandra Daddario just played his daughter in a movie.

I can kinda buy Daddario as the one who's capable of steering Efron.
