I've never met a little kid who wants to be goku. they always say Superman or Wonder woman, or the true heroes like police officers, firemen or the president. They realize that superman is a true hero, with heart. Superman fights to save everyone. Who do the DBZ people fight for, themselves. When Superman died, people accepted it as fate. And he came back because of this. When Goku died, no one could accept it, and greedily searched the earth to find or steal balls that would ressurect a man who should have accepted his fate. and when he kept on dying. you knew he would come back because there was a lame way to cheat death. so they killed of everyone, because they knew they would come back because their friends were so greedy that they had to have them back.
