SUPERMAN PRIME (holding nothing back) vs GOKU (with full access to the Dragon Balls)

This thread has been going on for six years.... Goku who is in manga, A completely different language and universe were to meet superman, a far in the future being who has traveled across countless universes to attain knowledge and power for truth and justice. Now consider this! Supes does not kill by his strict moral code. As we all know Goku does! Now I am not siding with Goku particularly. Power wise I do not know how strong goku or supes prime is. Now lets consider brains, Goku who has had countless battles has only lived for how long? I do not know.

But Superman Prime, who has traveled thousands of years to perfect and immortalize himeself is probably a lot more knowledgable in the arts of combat! Not to mentions he could travel back in time to learn more combat skills.

Now the senario is unknown. Lets say the basics. Now from hearing both sides both are immeasurable strong no doubt! Lets say they can move the universe with a flick of thier pinky finger! Now I'm talking about strength here! Not power!

So lets consider power! Supes has heat vision to melt lets say anything and Goku has a destructodisc that can cut anything (even the universe). Supes can revive anybody he wants including himself! Goku can just be like yo revive me! and tada! poof back again. He gains immortalitly through absorbing the dragon balls but does that give him invunerablitliy.

Now lets talk about endurance! If I am correct Goku uses Ki for his powers. Now Although there has been no established cap. there most likely is. If there isnt please correct me (politely). Now Superman prime has endurance to survive the end of Reality and the multiverse itself! Now if goku can do that please again correct me! Superman can create and replicate himself. Superman can be everywhere at once. Goku is so fast he can be everywhere at once! Both are so fast that chuck norris would punch thin air and hit them a billion times on accident.

Now This arguement is leaning towards Superman prime from my knowledge of both contestants.

Let bring in mind set. Superman Prime believes in the ability to save the world without killing. Goku will **** you up if you try to mess with anything he doesnt want you to. So the factor of that is in play. Now lets bring in who would be the bad guy! They are both pretty intellegent to recognize that neither of them mean any harm so why fight? So thats a problem in this already. But Skip that lets say that they just want a freindly fight to the death? Yeah ok well then lets get this fight going!

They are both going to test each others physical capabilities! Now why not try to wipe each other out in one blow? Neither of them are going to risk putting the whole universe into oblivion! I REPEAT THEY ARE TOO GOOD TO DESTROY THE UNIVERSE JUST TO KILL ONE PERSON! Now that they have to limit themselves, they test each one another. First they would teleport/superspeed/ Whatever towards eachother and punch! BOOM! Desserted planet explodes! They are in space! Goku can breath so can supes! Sun is in the background as they stare at eachother. WHOOSH! superman and goku are in a lock of arms! Hand to Hand! Goku kicks superman and supes uses his heatvision at goku! both go flying in opposite directions. Goku flies in to sun! FOOOOOM! Supernova happens causing an explosion! (If Goku can survive) Fight continues. Goku locates superman who is on an astroid regaining his senses and Starts his kamehameha. Superman sees a flash of light and teleports behind goku. Superman punches goku and sends him flying into a planet. superman tries to smash him and goku teleports and smashes Superman! And starts to bash in supermans skull as they move through the planets core.

They get to the otherside of the planet and dust is in the air. Goku sees nothing. Not even the superman prime. Smashed to Smithereans? Not yet! superman summons a vortex and sends dust and flying particles towards goku and encircles him! Goku can see nor hear due to the high winds and dust! Superman with his xray vision starts attacking from everywhere at once! Then goku does a flare sending the dust and rocks scattering leaving superman and goku facing each other on a dying planet.

Supes teleports nowhere to be seen. And goku closes his eyes and listens. BOOM! Supes comes from underground to smash gokus face in but nowhere to be seen. Then goku springs out from behind supes and grabs his legs and throws him across the universe! Now the fighting gets real! Superman runs into multiple planets and eventually into a white dwarf star! Goku follows instantly but at the last second gets hit by a white dwarf star! boom!

Goku absorbs the energy and warps it into a destrucodisk and flings it at superman, obliterating him into nothing. Goku smirks "well that solved it!". Then Superman comes out of a rip in time and space and says "miss me?"

superman summons a black hole to swallow up goku! and wink! sends him back to his universe and superman repairs all the damage done in a wink of an eye! Goku sits on his earth and says "That was fun!", "Can't Wait to do that again" and lives an normal freaing life!

SO JOKES ON ALL OF YOU! NO ONE WINS BECAUSE YOU GUYS THINK THEY AREN'T MINDLESS FIGHTING BRUTES! THEY HAVE THE INTELLIGENCT OF A NORMAL PERSON TO KNOW WHEN TO WALK AWAY FROM A DISATEROUS FIGHT!

LOL but I do support superman! From all my knowledge Superman has more cards up his sleeve. But Post more info on goku and try to change my mind! Because I dont know that much about goku!

As someone who has read All Star Superman (which is, for all intents and purposes, the prequel to DC One Million), DC One Million, and watched all of DB, DBZ, and DB GT, I have to say that the Superman at the end of DC One Million wouldn't really have any issue with Goku.

At one point in All Star Superman, Superman makes miniature suns for his pet Sun Eater to feed on with a hammer and anvil. Keep in mind that this was before he spent nearly a hundred thousand years evolving in the sun. He has literally become a solar being. At the end of All Star Superman, he essentially loses his physical form to become part of the sun. Fighting under a red son is not an issue, since at this point he has spent 85,000 years of charging up in the sun. He recreates the planet Krypton just from a bit of DNA he found, that's how powerful he is at that point. He becomes a living god.

That being said, I think a way more even fight would be the modern Superman who appears in the animated series/comics/etc (this is the one most people think of when they think of Superman). That one would be a little more debatable and could easily go the way of Goku. However, this thread is about a fight between Goku and the Superman from the end of the DC One Million series (and All Star Superman), and the clear winner of that fight would be Superman "Prime."

Another interesting fight would be Superboy Prime vs. Goku, as Superboy Prime has been shown as being much stronger than mainstream Superman (although probably not as strong as DC One Million Superman), and as he is a villain, the fight would make way more sense. Superman would never fight Goku seriously (and vice versa) because any serious fight between the two would cause some serious damage. Superboy Prime would have no such qualms.

An average person weighs 80 KG. 40% 0f 80 KG is 32 KG.
100000/32= 3125. So, superman can lift 3125 times more than an average human(farmer with shotgun)
5 PL * 3125 = 15,625.
Superman's power level is 15,625. That means that Goku could beat him after his training with King Kai by using Kaio Ken times 2 (16000 PL)


Superman prime stays in sun for 1 million years so lets multiply

156,625,000,000 is Super man primes power level so

Aaaand in the last episode of db gt you can see dragon ball's are flying and getting in goku. kinda like a fusion.

Since superman prime is immortal and has immasure power i think wishing for that kind of stuff would be fair.

Superman Prime can create life and take it away he can make a sun out of nothing if he felt like it. Goku can take out a thousand yellow suns and Superman prime could put it back up like it is nothing. Remember Superman prime is Superman with 1,000,000 years of prep time. The man became a god. Hell the man brought back krypton like it was nothing and brought back Lois. Hell the man is just giving away power and making people as powerful as his pre-crisis self.

They both have absolute control of reality. Whoever thinks to wipe the other one out of existence first wins. There are no thought-speed feats, therefore, this is entirely subjective, especially when argued by people who refuse to acknowledge that their non-favorite is an omnipotent god.

Shenron and dballs have limits and immortality doesnt make you a god. Goku is not the brightest spark.

In the DBZ universe how would goku get even more powerful ... a million years of pushups? Technically prime is not a million years in the future btw even though he can transverse time and space.

Prime 1 million inherited the powers of 5th dimension beings. Essentially means DBZ wishing abilities with NO LIMITS.

Unlike what goku "could be", we know what prime is .. built his fortress of solitude inside a sun and lived there for a 1000 years. Created his own universe, resurrected his wife, and all the inhabitants of krypton from a rock.

Prime can literally see everything in a multi universe throughout space and time, and has intelligence beyond imagination, i.e. omnipotence (sees and knows everything). His martial art fighting skills are FAR beyond that of goku due to his multitude of adversaries over 1000s of years.

This is all without the sword, source training or green lantern ****.

Goku is awesome and very inspirational, but he is not and never will be superman. People need to get over it.

I think people forget that stories like All-Star Superman are "what if"'s, the mainstream superman wouldn't hold a candle against Goku, he was killed by Doomsday, a simple brawler with very strong punches, imagine what a guy like GOku could do to him, somebody that has that strength, teleportation, plus a perfected fighting style and a great variety of energy attacks.

I don't even think Goku would die if eaarth was destroyed now, he was that strong back in Frieza arc, however now even young Trunks can do that while Goku is a thousand times more powerful.

If anything, this debate should be closed, why?
Because they're both considered gods in their own universes, which makes it impossible for them both to fight, it would honestly last for eternity, it would cause them both to destroy everything they know and love, just to prove dominance? Wrong, they're both for the good of their worlds, this being said, they wouldn't fight at all, instead if anything, Goku and Superman prime would most likely tag-team and kill off anything negative.

This is one of those things where most people vote for whichever they seem to like more. The way I see it is like this....

Superman is a character who suffers from inconsistency way too much. one minute Metallo can punch him and hurt him even without exposing the kryptonite,while in another Supes can use his pinky and break him like a paper clip. That being said I would see a DBZ character win. the reason why is even way before they hit Super Saiyan levels they were shown capable of blowing up planets with just their finger tips. An example is the when we see Vegeta and Nappa in their space pods and they have really low power levels. Now take that power and increase it exponentially for Goku at his max. On top of that for Goku, he has the instant transmission which trumps super speed. Further more, one thing people always over look with Superman is that Superman is dependent on his strength while Goku is a trained warrior. When Supes fought Muhammed Ali he got his ass whooped because he is not "trained" to fight but rather uses raw power. Goku has the power and the skills and as we have seen in the octagon IRL, skill can trump power. Superman does have the heat vision but Goku has way too many energy attacks to make up for it. Also solar flare is a huge advantage as he can blind supes, then on top of his power Goku can still go kaioken to increase his strength even more.

As much as I like supes, gotta say the always hungry, gold glowing hair monkey man gets the win a logical fight.

There is no logical thought around this because they just don't exist. but if speculation is going to be used, i guess that they need to be part of the universe in which they are fighting and the laws of physics should be applied to them equally.

I still think superman wins because, no matter the feats/equations/stories they (we) all abide to their physical bodies and the core of their embodiment is very different. Even if you can train your body like GoKu does, he does have limits and if for some reason anything were to affect his physical body (like pressure points) Goku would simply be unable to use/do anything. Where as superman, his core body is indestructible given that they are fighting on earth. His regeneration is off the charts and they are both bound by the speed laws of this planet.

So as said in the video... you have one where on its inception, he has NO limits except the ones imposed by his mind where one that actually has or has had limits that could arise at any given time.

That is what Screwattack did and I think they are right. Even if they are not... its an awesome movie that really fulfills a lot of things... 1) great half hour entertainment 2) the display of raw power and display of good use of abilities, arrogance and humility, fairness and use of one's potential. 3) great use of "logic" to an illogical situation and the fact that 4) we can sit here arguing or getting to a logical conclusion on 2 superbeings that do not exist while a lot of people on earth have actually NOTHING to eat, where to sleep nor family and that means that we are all on the road and EACH of us can attain complete happiness in this life. That makes me feel really blessed and I guess the Screwattack video achieved this.

After reading this whole forum, I can't believe no one mentioned this even once, but there's one ultimate reason Goku would beat Superman Prime. There is one feat that would more than even the match for him against Supes, the Infinity Gauntlet, or anything else...short of Chuck Norris

That feat is ultimate reality....

Here's what I mean:

Goku died in episode Two of DBZ. The experience made him 20x stronger.

Goku was blown to dust in the fight with Cell. While he was dead, he continued to train until increasing his strength tenfold. He then fought to protect the DBZ universe...while he was dead.

He was then revived and fought the God of Destruction, who KO'd his SSJ3 self with a tap on the shoulder. Just to keep up, he increased his power immeasurably and learned to breathe in space(what now, Screw Attack?)

The moral of the story of Goku is that life continues for those who continue chase after it, and Goku will continue to meet every opponent, and eventually surpass them all, even if they can end reality with a thought. Goku is not afraid of the "Infinity Gauntlet." That kind of power would only excite him! And he would surpass it. He would die alot, but he would eventually win, and not in as much time as you would think. The will to overcome all things. That is the difference between the DBZ universe, and the DC universe. Where's the proof? Where's the cannon? Goku, in a mere 40 years, and after dying again and again, went from the weakest Saiya 人 in the universe to becoming a God. He's perfectly fine with getting killed. It only multiplies his power and abilities. In cannon, he learned to do things that were impossible by all laws of nature, and in a very small amount of time. Given enough time, he could learn to bend reality to his will just like the Infinity Glove, and then beyond. If there was no beyond, he would invent one. There have been no established limits to the DBZ universe. In fact, the whole story is about shattering one's finite limitations. And not even the end of existence would keep Goku down. His greatest increases in power were realized only after he himself ceased to exist!

Superman, on the other end, can only accumulate power over a long, LONG period of time. He can never exceed his limitations. He can never ascend. Once Goku does surpass him, and he will, it will be...over!
