Your really starting to annoy the hell out of me you little turd. Again I must say that all of the things wrong with this movie have nothing to do with wanting mindless action or the other stupid, redundant nitpicking comments you made in your worthless post. The true poblem with this movie, and I geuss I have to spell it out for you because your to f#cking dumb to see what I have been saying, is that the story is un-engaging, un-emotional, the characters are written to be cardboard figures, the epic scene's have no substance behind them, cannot connect with the audience, the plot is one dimensional, etc etc. And this is bad for a fil that is billed as character driven. When you throw in the fact that other than the plane sequence, the action was boring and predictable, and that there is nothing truly exciting in the film, that's a receipe for home made sh#t, seasoned by a little vague history.

And yes, I do hate the kid. But not because he wasn't in the comics. If the kid would have been introduced in the last film of the franchise, I wouldn't have gave a damn. But here Warner Brothers is, trying to start a new franchise, with Singer's dumb ass vague history concept no doubt, and they throw a kid into the mix. Now, if Singer does return to this franchise, god forbid, then he and his lackey's will have to work around the kid for two more films, and we will not get to experience a pure Superman film.

Yeah. The B.O numbers signify exactly what you are saying. People are all about SR. They love it so much, they're seeing it night and day. Who knows? It might even break the all-time B.O. gross record. But, alas, your one-sided ranting counts for little when the proof lies infront of your eyes. For a movie which costs $260 million to make. If it even cannot reach 200 million in two weeks domestically, with a declining rate close to 50%, well.... its just nifty. SR is wonderful. The problem lies with the general public. Right? They can't accept a good movie for what it's worth, huh? Well, guess what. These are the people for whom WB actually makes these movies. They are the ones who contribute to the gross, and they are the single source of $$$ for the WB. Count yourself in as a member of the general public. The population is divided. It's not just the fanboys who are upset with this movie, its a large faction of the non-comic-book-reading public as well. That accounts for SR's poor performance in the B.O.

RRRRRIIIIGGGGHHHHTTTTTTTT, are you that much of a loser you have to follow me around like a little barking dog without ever really saying anything except making yourself look like an ass?

Guys. Let's break it up. SolidSnakeMGS, and WTFwuzThT... if you guys have a problem. Please take it to PM. The mods don't appreciate flame wars. So, COOL IT.

But... but.... but, there are factors... you see? I mean..... Factors..... get it?

On second thoughts....
Please do so.

You might not realize this, but the negativity is basically limited to this forum...

Well, this forum is like Kandor......it's a little universe with important issues.

Kandor.....does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Kandor is the name of the former capital city of the fictional planet Krypton in the DC Universe. It is best know for being stolen and shrunk by the supervillain Brainiac. :)

Okay.....so....IF Singer doesn't return....what happens?

Do we keep this film? Or do we restart?

Well, if Marvel can reboot the Hulk franchise with a new director (and possibly a new Bruce Banner), I'm sure WB can figure something out.

That's alot different though.

That film did lend itself to pretty much anything, storywise. It set itself up for the "Good 'Ol Days" thing, where the origin is over and they can just get to the meat of things. Superman Returns really set something up, things are different......and you cannot do another film without acknowledging SR......or waiting long enough for people not to be confused, and even then....people still will be lost, causing friction and crap.

Hulk is taking a while to reboot, and still hasn't kicked off yet, and with a reboot of Superman, I really think it'd take a long time to happen. It took long enough to get his one.....

WRONG!!!
guarenteed he will come back, why, he's under contract...... they will have to pay him to break the contract, and they aren't going to waste any money....

Like they wasted 20mil on Nicolas Cage?

WB will make the most financially sound decision regarding Superman's sequel. If they want to take it in a different direction (a la Batman franchise after Batman Returns) they will. WB is not afraid to change director and start anew.

Candor- something these forums simultaneously have too much and too little of. ;)

Reboot a reboot? Yeah right, WB is NOT gonna do that...they're just gonna change a few things for the sequel ($) and put Singer on a tighter leash.

Here's what I hope happens:

WB: READ THE *****IN COMIC BOOKS! AND WATCH JLU & STAS!

Singer: Okay, boss. :O

lol....those were red alerts though. Films that would have done to the character what BATMAN AND ROBIN did to Batman.

They gave Tim Burton like 25 million for practically nothing...

Or WB can do it like FOX did with Alien 3. FOX got David Flincher, let him killed off two important characters from Cameron's successful Aliens movie, and basically did a minor reboot of a popular franchise.

Maybe WB will get a new director, kill off two important characters from SR (Richard White and Supe's kid?), and go to a new direction. You never know. ;)

Hey, isn't SR basically a dream sequence from Clark that pretends Superman 3 & 4 never existed? ;)
