Dick Sprang didn't draw B+R with quite so broad shoulders, otherwise those are spot on.

OK...gotcha'!!!
Yes...the classic batman. I guess he was brought to life by Adam West.....though sure, it would be fun to go totally Old School and bring that suit to life out of rubber...probably wouldnt work as well as spandex though. That's the kind of look spandex is meant for...so wait till you see my Dark Night Returns full statue....huge just like in the comic!

As for Wizard...I always submit my entry too late....DOH!...still, the competition is pretty steep but most people just go into it wanting to have fun.

How do you make your stuff without seeing the seam from the mold?
Because my stuff you can see the seam and some times i get lucky

Yes...she's quite the looker!

Cowl?...I've begun 2 different sculpts...but will officially start this as of Nov 1st. The cowl is not that difficult to do...but getting the angles right will be the trick.
The whole suit is coming...even the cape with the flocked look to it.

I'm making a suit EXACT to the movie one...or as close as I can get it then I'll do some variations of grey/black...blue and so on.

Even a gun metal suit...metallic looking as in the Batman VS Predator comics. Please dont mistake this for the Ice suit thingamagiggies...nothing like that at all.....

There's a whole history behind this project.......should be cool as the suit get's further into completion.

It's no secret..

The suit is black.
Foam latex painted black.

Usually, these suits are shined up for filming...I'm sure that in some scenes it'll be shiny yet in others for whatever reason it'll appear dull, or with a matt finish.
They used polishing wheeles on the first 4 films...and I'm pretty sure nothing will change in that respect with this film.

Again...that's the color of the suit....confirmed.

Hi,

just starting working on the Batman Begins Cowl based on the pics I have found around the net. It is coming along ok just need to add the detail and smooth out the bumps. I will try and post a few pics by the weekend.

I would like some help with the smoothing out of the bumps of the sculpt, maybe David would be best to talk to. Anyway I am using new clay and it is looking good.
