Batman Begins BEGINS Costume Sculpt...My work in progress

I'm happy to say he's replied to my email and now I'll have the honor of owning one of these Kane figures he's made.
I am really thrilled about this.
Thanks again Batscot!

I was just giving the eBay guy a bit of a ribbing ;)

NP... I thought you might get a kick out of it. The guy did a hell of a job on the head sculpt considering its 1:6 scale (though I think he got the ears a bit thick - I'm so nitpicky :D) He's also done 1:6 B89 and DE figures:

Can you show me which line you're referring to ??? Maybe I'm thinking of another one????...we could be misunderstanding eachother....:)

Now I'm beginning to concentrate on the details...still too harsh and not subtle enough but we're really beginning to see the resemblence now...The outer line that defines the abb's is still not 'arched' enough but I'm getting there...

Yes soon I'll begin to take pics of the entire sculpt... :joker:

Thanks buddy!!

I have an OT question...hope I'm not out of line..

How do we change the original title of the thread to let others know there have been updates made?
I edited the original title from my first post...but it does not change on the main page where only the titles are read??

Can we change or modify the titles or is that not possible?

Thanks and sorry for the OT...

David

Nevermind David...I see you fixed it. Great job! Can't wait to see it finished!

Unless he is officially licensed to do so, he couldn't do that without getting his ass hauled into court and getting sued big-time by Warner's. David? Am I correct that you are doing this for your own private use and nothing else?

That is correct....Unfortunately I cannot part with any of my batman related pieces.

Thanks everyone!!! I really hope I can finish this baby up soon. Once the detailing is nearly complete I'll start giving it that glass smooth finish that should add the finishing touch to this sculpt. Then...onto the cowl once and for all!

Dude, you´re my hero!!

Thanks again everyone!!!!

Hero, hardly....I'm just a guy who is lucky enough to be able to do this sort of thing and bring it to life.
Antares has outstanding computer skills...others are writers...and so on. We're all good at something....and as a restult all Hero's to others. :)

I'm very pleased that many of you are happy with what's so far been shown..cant wait to finish it!

I can't wait just to see it finished!

Hey DAVE

I thought I would try and help in any way by bringing these to your attention from another thread. Thought maybe they could help some how, except for maybe that last one...but it's cool.

ANTARES
Now the story, my compagny i've been hired by score to create this character, im not here to discuss it being a good idea or not the fact is they wanted it. The only reference i had for the modeling was the pic you all know now with Bale crounching and, in front pose on the background. The 3D character has been modeled and rendered in 5 days. The fact is, it obviously has some "off" details but considering the time i had, and the lack of references it was nearly imposible for me to model something more accurate, i tried to stick as closely as possible to the design but this wasnt that easy, some of you certainly know how hard it is to model a human body. Anyway you now know the story.
