The Dark Knight Behind the scenes look @ the dark knight on the today show right now!!!

You know what, that's a good question? I really enjoyed the prestige and I couldn't help but find myself saying "why didn't his Batman film have this feel to it?" The Prestige felt like a stylish mystery/fantasy movie straight out of the Twilight Zone. His Batman film......it just isn't what I expected or wanted....it's basically some kind of alternate world Batman or something and not the Batman I hoped for or envisioned at all...it's not even close...

Sorry to burst your bubble, Nolan did not create the movie with you alone in mind. Most people here enjoy BB and are jacked for TDK.

Wow, you gotta admit Roker has a way with words.

"We've gotten rid of the villians..there's a homicidal guy...with...the Joker out there."

That was nothing at least Roker had an abstract idea of what was going on. The worst interviewer was definitely Charles Gibson of ABC. When he interviewed Bale for BB and Bale was slightly emaciated from preparation for Rescue Dawn, Gibson says "When I think of Batman I imagine a guy who's 6'2 200 lbs. but you don't look like that" I gotta give Bale credit b/c while I was thinking WTF did you even watch the film a-hole, he replied in a blase manner "That's movie magic for you." Pure class.

Roker has enough charisma to carry the segment, knowing the Batman mythos or not.

I laughed my Batbutt off when they put up the "fake" teaser poster and played it off as Heath Ledger. I bet they got a lot of mail because of that...

I guess there's a lot of people with free time. :o

This video was incredible until they showed the manip of Conrad Veit (or whatever his name is) when they said "Heath Ledger as The Joker"

:cmad:

I think the suit looks great. This is the closest the Batsuit has got in the flims to looking like an actual battlesuit, rather than chunky rubber.

First the neck is too big, and now it's too small.

Seriously. This can't be hard .

Why the hell did they have to play the Batman 66 campy music.........WHY ?????????????:o :o :o

Part of me likes the new suit, in that it's no longer teh puffy. But, at first, when I saw that screencaps, I was like "Did someone just take a picture of an action figure?"

The thing looks like plastic. And...yeah, a bit teh skinny. And that skinny neck makes his head look bulbous from most angles. I mean, I'm glad it's mobile, but they could have made the head flow into the neck better, rather than it just looking like a helmet.

And what's up with the batsymbol? It's not even a batsymbol...it's just like two wing-shaped things stuck on either side of the chestplate. Doesn't even look like they touch in the middle.

im not a huge fan of batmans mask but the suit and stuff looks great....
They used the picture of that one guy from the man who laughs and not Heath Ledgers :o

I agree that now the head looks kinda big, but you know what? I can deal with that as long as he can actually turn it . . .

I have a feeling that's the very reason why the neck is thin. I think they might have tried the motorcycle cowl with a thicker neck and it probably bunched up like rolls of fat everytime he turned his head so they choose to make the neck piece of the suit completely form fitting to prevent this.

I'm not fond of the fact that the new suit was designed around the concept of the Bat Pod.

The "helmet cowl" is FTL.

BATMAN RETURNS came pretty close. For that matter, so did BATMAN FOREVER, with the whole "Sonar Suit".

excellent point, although they've been hearing us complain about the goddam neck for forever! (I know I have been)

The Returns suit is my favourite.

I like it too, except for the breasts. It's got such clean lines.
