Joe Manganiello is a good choice for Deathstroke. Although it would've been great to see someone like Matt Damon or Brad Pitt or Ron Perlman in the role but Joe works just fine for me.

Yeah, I myself would prefer a more seasoned actor like those, especially since Deathstroke should be a veteran(not that Manganiello is that significantly younger than Affleck). Someone like James Purefoy, Viggo Mortensen, Benicio Del Toro, or Mark Strong.

I actually didn't like the sound of a Raid-style film set in Arkham with all of Batman's rogues in one film, so if we get a film with fewer villains, then I'd probably enjoy it more. Deathstroke is a cool villain, and I'd like to get more of a physical threat to Batman that'll showcase his physical combat abilities. Kinda like Bane in TDKR, but with the flourish of the more comic book-y DCCU.


I thought that footage Affleck posted was from the Arkham games. Hopefully he'll give us a fight as awesome as the video games.

We've had 6 Batman films, 2 of them with Joker. I just say have our cake and eat it to. Have both of them if they can work it out.

But realistically speaking, what are the odds we even get another Batman solo film?

Affleck's shooting Justice League right now. Then he's got The Batman, Witness to the Prosecution, and Justice League 2 after that (two of which he's directing).

Guy's got a lot on his place for the next three years, and by the time we get to 2019, he'll be nearing fifty.
