Best action sequence in any comic book adaptation!!!!

And I answered it. How is the two of them fighting within a couple of blocks "inaccurate"? Unless they destroy a couple of buildings it isn't in keeping with the comics? That's ridiculous.

Of course he looked more powerful in AngHulk. He was just fighting a couple of tanks and jets. Doesn't mean he WAS more powerful. Here he was fighting a monster who was stronger than him.
Ummmm...I don't know.
It seemed scaled down to me.

On Spiderman fighting Doc Ock I give it to you.In realistic terms he should have knocked him out.But I think that's real world accuracy.I say that because it has happened many times in the comics so in comic accuracy I would have to disagree.Ang Lee movie as a whole failed for me but the Hulk fight with the Military was on scale with the comics followed by the jumping scenes.

How any wolverine fight is mentioned (minus the cage fight) is beyond forgiveness.

He gets his ass kicked in EVERY fight (Sabertooth x2, Mystique, Lady Deathstrike, Juggernaut in Jean's house), and only wins by a miraculous event (Cyclops, Adamantium contraption, Stabbing Mystique in the back).

Sure, he beat some humans. That was cool. But he was worthless against most of the mutants. Just cuz he can heal doesn't mean I want to spend my day at the movies watching him get his ass handed to him .

X-men in general had some crap fight scenes. Juggernaut and Colossus in the same vicinity and not one punch is thrown? In fact, Juggernaut meets his demise by a wall.

Eff that.

X-men = fail.

Yea I have to agree with that, most of the fights in the X-Men series were crap. Apart from Wolverine vs Deathstryke.

The only Wolverine fights that were mentioned are the cage fight and when he kills Stryker's soldiers at the X-Mansion.

I hate to do this....but...count with me

X-men I When Sabertooth tries to capture Wolverine and Rogue I felt like a Deja vu in that scene in the snow when Sabertooth swung the tree and Cyclops and Storm show up.

X-men II The Nightcrawler scene in the begginning.

Spiderman III fight with Sandman on the truck.

1......1 piece of crap

1. Hulk vs. Abomination

2. Spidey vs Doc Ock on the train

3. Wolverine vs. Lady Deathstrike

Honorable mention: Blade in the underground vamp club in Blade 1

2...2 pieces of crap.

I win.

I must've been blocking it out as I read over them.

Wolverine vs Deathstrike was a cool fight. And you can excuse him of getting pissed on in that, she is exactly like him, only quicker and more agile.

1) Iron Man vs. Ten Rings (After village massacre)
2) Hulk vs. Abomination
3) Wolverine vs. Stryker's Troops in X-Mansion

deathstrike's death and wolverine's inability to actually fight while he got owned continuously made it hard to watch

it was more like a showcase to her skills but you don't need to discredit one character in order to show another one off.

ock's encounter with spidey should have ended in the very first scene when spidey throws those bags back in his face at the bank

i lost all faith in the films then

considering these people were supposed to be fans, you don't have to go much further than the 3rd ISSUE OF A SPIDERMAN COMIC to see how an encounter with ock should go. They even attempted to homage the *****slap scene but failed to grasp what made their encounters interesting.

Understandably so. I just bust a blood vessel every time someone mentions the X-men action sequences.

"coo?l" perhaps. Two healers just sloppily wailing on each other without thought, yeah, maybe that's cool. But that's exactly what Sabertooth and Wolverine will do in Origins. I don't see how it was a "good" fight.

If you can name one mutant that Wolverine owned, I'll give you a dollar.

ps: The X-men cartoons kept drawing wolverine on the ground too

He didn't own any other mutants. I'm agree with you really, all the fights in the X-Men films leave a lot to be desired. But that one was ok, it was brutal, it was nasty, something that i'd associate with Wolverine.

That I can agree with.

Hulk Vs. Abomination, definitely. no contest.

If we are going on accuracy, then it has to be wolverine's cage fight. A Very very simple scene really well done. It's beauty is in the fact we know the character before he is mentioned.

I'm gonna have to disagree. Wolverine is one the most skilled hand to hand fighters in the world. He has over a century of training in almost every kind of fighting technique there is and yet for the first half of the fight he gets his ass kicked by some random tough guy in a hick bar? I don't think. All of the X-Men movies got it horrible wrong in that respect. He does get his ass kicked way too much.

He was letting that guy beat him. He knew he would heal... he didn't want it to look TOO easy

Ha, you miss the point of the bout

the bout wasn't about anything other than obtaining money and some self flagellation.

He let himself get taken out, his self esteem was at an all time low and he had nothing to live for so he let people beat him up but won the fights for money.

His lack of fighting prowess and effort clearly demonstrates this. How many times has wolverine allowed himself to be a punching bag in the comics because his head was all over the place.

Well ok then. I guess it has been a long time since I've seen the movie. But he does get his ass kicked way too much in all the movies.

You know I know I never liked any of his fights(with the exception of the cage in the cage it was as if he really captured the Wolverine essence) but I never realized. He is always getting wooped.I always despised any of his other fights because he fights like a punk, and he is weak and all of his fights look like he's on wires.I mean I know he is but it shouldn't look that way.I ALWAYS EXPECT HIM TO BE MORE SKILLED.Now you can say memory wipes but then that's just stupid!!!!Then why even bother to mention it.I thought it was a thing like in Jason Bourne(Born Identity) where he has skills but doesn't remember where he got them from.I saw him in a league like Batman. But if I'm wrong then Marvel should just shut-up why bother mentioning all this training that's just stupid.I still believe it's like a Jason Bourne thing. In Martial arts anyone in Martial arts will tell you that the training eventually becomes instinctual second nature if you will. There is no thinking involved after a while you just react. If your that good.

they simply underplayed his fighting skills

they guy is a special ops master with martial skills and centuries of fighting experience.

Even marvel underestimates his fighting prowess, sometimes showing him as undisciplined and sloppy (hence the regular use of his healing factor) and beserk.

it's just different wolverine's for different stories

I'm a lil confused with this. Maybe it should go in Misc comic films if it's for ANY comic film.

Until it is established and my confusion eased, I shall hold my opinion. :)
