Best action sequence in any comic book adaptation!!!!

Hmm...

Ok, with exception to the first one these are in no particular order...

TDK: The chase scene with the slaughter truck/Batpod etc. Epic, tense, long, and completely satisfying. What any 'set piece' should be.

SR: The plane rescue. Best part of the film and the best action scene Superman has ever had, IMO.

Spider-Man: The festival fight with GG, and the climax in the abandoned building.

SM2: The whole bank sequence, including the fighting on side of the building, made even better with the extended cuts in 2.1

SM3: The Gwen Stacy rescue, short but sweet.

X2: Nightcrawler, White House....nuff said. Incredible. Also, the Deathstrike/Wolverine brawl. Favorite fight of the trilogy right there. *finger claws* "Holy ****..." still makes me lol every time.

X3: The Wolverine/Spike fight in the woods and the scene at Jean's childhood home. The climax at Alcatraz, although very big was a little lame. Kinda like the whole movie.

Blade 1: The nightclub. Kickass. Literally. :hehe:

Daredevil: The bar fight. Nasty.

Batman Begins: The Arkham sequence, taking out the Scarecrows goons was much better than the docks scene, IMO.

Batman Forever: The bank fight. Still my favorite throw down of the Batman films, despite the goofy blue taser thingy and it's effects.

The Incredible Hulk: The fight at the university with the sonic cannons and such.

I haven't seen Ang Lee's Hulk in years, but I don't remember being particularly wowed by any of the action.

Batman Mask of The Phantasm: Being chased by the cops. Great scene. Also the whole climax at the World's Fair.

BB Return of The Joker: The Arkham flashback.

Ultimate Avengers: Fighting the Hulk at the end. Real slobber-knocker right there.

That's what comes to mind off the top of my head.

Best iconic superhero sequence...

Superman TM helicopter sequence (nuff said)

SM2 the train sequence.

no action sequence in a comic movie comes close imho (yes that includeds TDK).

Lets see....hmmmm, well

The Punisher (04) -The end shoot out at the night club. It was very well Directed, and everything was put together VERY nicely, FX, Lighting, Music, Direction/Camera angles, etc. It's just one action sequence I'll never forget.

TDK- The Joker and Batman Chase with the Bat pod. It was just to ****ing cool.

.Spider-Man- The end fight with the green goblin. Just one of those fight scenes that just stick in your gut, very dramatic, and very violent.

Blade- The begging, at the meat packing plant. Very brutal.

Punisher War Zone- The Mansion Massacre scenes, The most violent **** I've seen on film

Daredevil- The fight between Him and Bulls-eye. ****ing bad ass.

X2- Wolverine going Bananas on the Army guys.

There are a lot more on the list but I'm tired of typing

SM2 the train sequence.

no action sequence in a comic movie comes close imho (yes that includeds TDK).
I still don't find the train sequence as thrilling as most fans do. Don't know why. It's certainly great, but I find the bank heist to be more exciting. But it seems like I'm the exact opposite, never see anyone mention that one, it's all train this, train that...:hehe:

the bank fight is definitely a better free for all because it operates in closer quarters and spiderman is more fired up about it.

dragging ock off a building is pretty manic and a feat for the eye.

I feel the same way about their second interaction, the part on the clocktower was better then their exploits on the train itself. the only genius part of the train journey was spiderman's recovery from being knocked off it. the rest is very meh.

it's still highly inaccurate though but it's a decent viewing for anyone who isn't bashing their skulls in continuously while watching it..

have a glimpse at the earlier pages of this thread, it's already been covered.
