The Blade movies (especially the first 2) dont get the credit they deserve on here and i have started watching them again with the TV series just starting here. They contain some of THE best action scene's of ANY CB movie and they contain some great characters and some GREAT villains as well.

Also,

Does anyone think a Blade 4 will ever be a possiblity, i mean i know WS has legal problems at the moment, but Blade:Trinity left things on a bit of a sour note after the excellent first 2 movies. Watching the first movie for the time in ages last night (Its still great BTW), i just feek the character never the great send off he truly deserved.

I would love to see a 4th movie with a Morbius storyline or the Apocalpse storyline that Goyer wanted to do for the 3rd movie. Though i would only want Goyer to write it not direct it.

Blade was easily the best. As far as a sequel goes, no. Blade has run his course. Blade 4 would probably end up like Blade Trinity.

first was the best, 2nd had the best end fight although i didn't like the fact that nomak commited suicide and blade acted all cocky like he could have taken him :o

i don't want anymore to do with that franchise

Blade II was definitely the best.

I’m definitely up for a Blade 4, but obviously only if done right.

1. I’d want Guillermo Del Torro (or someone of his repertoire) back in the directors chair, and David Goyer only writing the Screenplay. Del Torro was able to not only provide some fantastic action sequences, but he was also able to balance it well with a sense of style and humor that really clicked. Blade 1 took itself a little too seriously at times, and Blade Trinity was all over the place and tried to be way too many things, and ended up being a big mess.

2. I’d want Wesley Snipes back in the title role, but since the chances of that are almost nonexistent I’m willing to compromise. It’d probably have to be someone new though. I’ve only seen a bit of the TV show but I wasn’t really impressed with “Sticky Fingaz” (seriously, all puns aside, that name really is just tacky). Not sure who I’d pick though, probably an unknown.

3. It’s called Blade, therefore the movie should be about BLADE. Even if he is a wee bit of a prima donna I still have to side with Snipes for suing the creators of Trinity on the grounds that he was contractually forced to do the movie, but that it was only done to create a spin-off for his co-stars. I don’t want a story about some crappy generic group of vampire hunters called the “Nightstalkers” (embarrassing, truly), I want a story about BLADE. I don’t want a story about Blade learning some kind of Moral lesson that even he needs help. **** off with that! Blade doesn’t need help, he’s friggin BLADE!

There are only 2 blade films as far as I'm concerned. Blade 2 is the best, followed closely by blade 1.

Blade was the best for me then Blade 2 close behind. As for Blade 4, no way...

First one is the best and I'd rather want a Nightstalkers movie.

well blade 4 is impossible unless its a prequel...cause well...'Daystar Virus' killed every vampire on earth. unless theres space vampires.

The Daystar only killed all Vamps in the immediate vicinty, being the building that Blade fought Drake in. Sommerfield (American Pie Girl) explains it in that recording.

Oh, and Blade II is awesome. Easily has one of my favorite endings in a comic movie.

Blade was the best, then blade II by a short hair. Blade 3 wasn't very good at all. Just had no flow, and overall acting was very bad. No epic fights at all,no real action so too speak..Only thing that was any good was Ryan Reynolds(little annoying at first but was kindof funny after a bit).

Well I only saw the third one but I heard that the third one didn't do so well so I truly doubt they'll do a second one.

Since the series was in continuity with the movies, I'd like a second season of the series to wrap up the Cthon storyline (either that or a made for tv movie that wraps it up.) then move on to Blade 4. I just can't see them wraping that up in a theatrical flick. As for who to play Blade, it's a safe bet Snipes isn't ever comming back, so keep Sticky. I'm happy with him and he honestly dug the role and is a comics fan, he wasn't just doing it for a paycheck. That goes a long way with me. If anything, at least wrap up the series storyline somehow...

It just occured to me, how about an animated direct to DVD movie that's not in continuity with anything? That way the movies and tv show can be left alone, and we get more Blade. Everyone wins. Of course, it would have to be R rated with all sorts of bloody vampire goodness...

Watched Blade:Trinity again last night and actually found some enjoyment from it, at least the Blade scene's were mostly great. Its still a poor movie, though better than Elektra and X3 IMO.

Blade 2
I think that the she-vampire that blade was about to fall in love with
Created a little tension and made the movie a little sad romantic in some sort of ways.
Plus! she remind me of Lilith (Dracula’s daughter)
The resemblance was so striking just like in those Gene Colan and Tom palmer’s tomb of Dracula comics
Praise American comic books!
At least they draw in such a realistic way that you can actually relate to real people

Unlike those goggle eyed pointy nose with no nostril, no lips manga characters.
God I’m getting so fed up of them.

Anyway, unlike Buffy the vampire slayer who's willing to sleep with any vampire with a soul!
Blade knows how to resist his sexual urges
And that’s why male superhero characters are always taken more seriously than females.

You talking about Nyssa, yeah she was a good character and created some good tension with Blade, and her end was fitting and beautiful also.

Blade 2 was my favourite and I'm happy for the franchise to end at 3

I'm would like it to just be three films.

I actually liked Trinity..maybe its because I never read any of the comics.

Although Trinity could have bin a little darker toned.
