Best Blade movie and would you want a Blade 4??????

I'm would like it to just be three films.

I actually liked Trinity..maybe its because I never read any of the comics.

Although Trinity could have bin a little darker toned.

I think the main problem with Trinity was that it just didnt match the first 2 in any way shape or form. BUT, its not as bad as i initially thought, and all the scene's with Blade in are great, its better than X3 IMO.

Do you mean the tone or atmosphere of the movie didn't fit or the story?

Story wise I think it fit with the previous films...it kind of felt like a lot of time pasted between blade 2 and 3...or at least thats why it seemed like to me.

The first movie beats out the second by a small margine. The third is decent, but after seeing it, I wouldn't want a fourth.

Hell, I didn't think Trinity was that bad--if we had a script doctor and a better director on helm, it might have been the best one yet.

Mainly the tone, i had no problem with the story, just the execution of the story. There wasnt enough focus on Blade, Drake was poorly executed, and the action scene's, though good compared to other action movies, were not as good as the first 2 movies' one's.

Trinity was poor compared to the first 2 IMO, but better than many action movies out there. Your second point about Trinity having the potential to be the best Blade movie yet is correct, it had the best set-up and backstory IMO, i mean Blade vs Dracula, what better set-up can you get!

Blade was an incredible flick but I think Blade 2 trumped it. The story was more elaborate and the villians more formidable than Frost's bunch. Also, the culminating fight between Nomak and Blade is still the best combat scene I have ever witnessed on film.

I really don't want a Blade 4. I'd rather have the series continued on decent station.

Unike most superbeing fights, it wasn't CGI dependant. What made it so good was the jawdropping skill of the actors and the fight coreography. The CGI only enhanced the performance when it was necessary. It was something special.

While the Nomak and Blade fight was awesome, I think the Spider-Man vs. Ock train fight and Wolverine vs. Deathstrike are still better fight scenes.

It's a tie between Blade 1 and 2 for me. I really like the realistic feel to the fact that vampires might actually be among us that Blade 1 brought to the vampire mytho, but as far as action is concern Blade 2 owned it!

Would i want a 4th? Only if Snipes comes back..and yes, Trinity is non-existant to me.

Totally agreed once again, the effort the actors put in made it seem like the two character were genuinely trying to kill each other. The fight was just brutal and frantic and amazing to watch.

While both were great fights in their own right, Blade vs Nomak was still better thsn both IMO.

Problem is, the focus isn't that much on Blade.

Reynolds is hilarious and steals the show, but comes off a little more than comic relief. Biel was there to spout like 10 lines and get preposterous fight scenes. And don't get me wrong, I would've been rolling my eyes too had Reynolds killed like 50 vampires that easily.

And yeah, it was better than X3 in the sense that the script wasn't completely ******ed. Bad, yes. ******ed, no.

Agreed on all accounts, and i think you mean Biel, not Alba . But yeah, they should have focused on Blade A LOT more.

Blade is the best.

Kill off the nightstalkers, and get down to classic Blade stuff, none of this panzy helpers and shizzle, maybe have him haunted by whistler's memories. Bring in some kind of soul sucking creature, get him away from vampires a bit more, as most non comic fans think blade only ever dealt with vamps, altho he has lots more he did in the comics!

Blade 1 takes it for me as the all around better movie.

Blade 2 had better action, a better challenge for the characters and some great twists, but it relied too heavily on flawed CGI and strayed a bit too far from the serious atmosphere of the first one for my tastes. Besides teaming up with vampires, Blade's actions don't reflect that he considers the Reapers a serious problem.

the third one was crap. a few good scenes...but mostly crap.

I don't want Blade's name to be sullied even more with a 4th movie.
