Best Blade movie and would you want a Blade 4??????

Blade 2 was my favorite probably cause I'm much more into the horror genre then just plain action. I like horror/sci-fi the best. I loved how Blade teamed up with his enemies and Whistlers squabbles with Ron Perlman were classic. "Nipplehead". "Buttercup". LMFAO

To be honest, I'm just not quite sure there's a reason for any more Blade flicks.

Don't get me wrong, I like 1 & 2. There's just so many stories you can tell about offing vampires.

There are loads of great lines, even in the 3rd movie, i always get a tingle down my spine at this line:

Police Chief:"We dont have a choice! They're going to win....cant you see that....He's come back! There's nothing stopping them now!"

Felt 3 was best, 2 the worst. Was going to say 4 was an impossibility because he killed Vlad in three but wasn't it hinted at the end of 3 that Vlad was still alive? Besides, what would they call it 'Blade Quad?'

While it was pretty damn funny, it's just messed up on so many levels to hear about a thunder**** in a vampire movie...

Edit: well, most movies, but still, the 'possible' ending chapter a trilogy make it seem worse.

I wouldn't be opposed to a 4th Blade film if the story were well done. However, I think there are other Marvel properties that have never been done, that should be placed on a higher priority list first.

Example, I'd rather see a Thor film than a fourth Blade film. I would rather see a Captain America film or a Dr. Strange film than a fourth Blade, and so on.

I can't believe everyone is saying that the one saving grace of Blade:Trinity was Ryans Renholds's comedy.. . That alone, with MANY other elements, contributed to killing what could have been the greatest superhero franchise of our era....

Ryan Reynolds did steal the scenes he had. One thing that really hurt Blade 3 was Dominic Purcell's portrayal of Dracula. It was really poor casting, IMO. I like Purcell and think he's a good actor, but not for this role.

Triple H sucked too! So did Parker Posey. So did the rest of the Nightstalkers team. In other words, the entire cast sucked with the exception of Snipes and Kristoffenson.

Goyer himself said in the commentary, that he wanted to see how many comedians he could get in the movie from, Patton to Higgins.....what the hell was he thinking?

Well, I said it was funny and that he did steal scenes.

I also pointed out that said comedic element, while amusing, had absolutely no f****n place in what we all assumed would be the last Blade flick.

the 1st and 2nd Blade movies were superb, the 3rd was ****e.

Overall, despite the crapness of the movie, the movie still made a hefty profit, if you include the dvd sales,rentals and theater money. True, the movie didnt do well domestically at the theaters, but as of now its made a hefty profit. Where there is profit to be made, the sequel is always ready to be made.

As for saying Snipes won't go back. YES he will, just as long as he is not ripped off or mislead into making a movie in which he has less screentime than 2 ****ty side acts called biel and reynolds. Oh, and while they are it, just make sure Goyer doesnt come back. He totally lost the plot for Trinity and his Blade Series sucked ass.

Just let Snipes take over duties with his production company, get his proper martial arts choreographer back on the set like for the first two movies, and we can have a proper kick ass movie.

Lethal Weapon went to a 4th movie. So why can't Blade ? In fact, whats to stop them making a 4th,5th and 6th ? They can film 2 of them back to back to save on budget costs, and finally bring us Morbius and everything on screen.

Del Toro made Blade 2 on a relatively small budget. And they can do it again. All they need is a proper director like Del Toro or someone who knows how to make proper action. Not crap like Blade Trinity.

As for those saying "whats the need for a blade 4", or "no".

YES we do need one. Goyer's pathetic attempt at directing was a disgrace to movie making and made Michael Jackson's Moonwalker look like a oscar masterpiece in comparison.

Goyer is just a hack now, well past his best.

He should go back to his real talent, making scripts for movies like his "classic" kickboxer 2.

and anyway, a blade 4 is not going to cost as much, especially since trinity cost 60 million. a blade 4 is likely to be the same, maybe less.
