Personally I think Molina's Doctor Octopus is the best, based on what I've seen. Even though he didn't have that much screen time, his performance was excellent and looked great visually. He also was a complex character and not just a megalomaniac, and a example of a tragic villain.

The comic book 616 version is the best because he has decades worth of great stories and iconic moments, and as the poster above me mentioned he even recently managed to kill Peter Parker and take over his body for the last 2 years.

I also really love Molina's Doc Ock, Spectacular Spider-Man's Ock, and Ultimate Spider-Man's Doc Ock pre the Clone Saga arc before they gave him those stupid Magneto like powers.

I'm really torn on this one. I love Doc Ock from the 616 comic book version and he's probably the best just because there's so much material. It has the benefit of seeing his story fully fleshed out and the whole Master Planner Saga/arc is not only my favorite Ock storyline, it's one of my favorite stories from the entirety of Spider-Man comics.

Despite knowing the above mentioned is the best version of Doc Ock, I'm going to vote for TSSM version. IMO, is captured the essence of Ock and was an awesome rendition of his character. I sincerely loved every minute of his appearances in that show.

Including the original comic character makes this inherently lopsided as rarely, very rarely, do adaptations of comic characters transcend their source material.

So yes, I voted for the one with decades of great stories and the definitive image of aged authority versus youthful rebellion.

After that, based on this poll, I would say the '90s AMS Doc Ock is second, because that faux-German accent Efrim gave us was awesome. :awesome:

Then Alfred Molina, who is Doc Ock brought to life if you get over the sympathetic origin.

Then The Spectacular Spider-Man Doc Ock.

I never cared for the Ultimate take. The rest blur together.

What the folks before me said about 616 Ock, the best cannot be topped
Followed by Ultimate Spider-Man animated version
Then The Spectacular Spider-Man version

Spectacular,TAS,SM2

As great as Ock was in SM2 he wasn't as sympathetic in the comics so I think in terms of adapting the character in live action we could see better.

I havnt really read the comics so I don't really no but I think he was to much of a loser in the spectacular spider man before he became Doc OCk.

I really like the movie one the best. I like the sympathetic side they brought in, and made Otto a real swell guy.

Plus, dat coat and dem tentacles...

Sort of a tie between the version from SM2 and the 90s animated series.
