Best Main MCU Villain?

Wilson Fisk is the best, but if we're strictly talking about the movies, it's a toss up between Ultron and Loki.

I'll put a vote in for the Winter Soldier. He's the only villain that felt like a constant threat to the heroes. When he came on the screen, you knew they were screwed

Unfortunately the competition isn't stiff. Loki takes it easily.

Got to say its Loki easily. I doubt if Kingpin ever slams any car doors on somebody's heads in the films.

Loki is the best, then Kingpin then Alexander Pierce (if he counts as a main villain).

It makes no sense to limit this to films since Kingpin, Garrett and Cal are better than every villain in a Marvel movie with the possible exception of Loki.

1. Kingpin
2. Loki
3. Ultron
4. Ronan
5. Thanos (Haven't seen much of him, but I have high hopes)
6. Wesley
7. Arnim Zola
8. Iron Monger
9. Justin Hammer
10. Red Skull

9,857. Malekith

Ward and Betty were pretty damn good villains as well. And another one from Agent Carter the Russian doctor who could mind control people was damn good also, just can't remember his name.

what is the 'Main MCU' and why do you need to limit the poll to the movies? I can't take this thread seriously if the OP obviously can't either

I'm hoping Thanos will top the list after Infinity Wars. And Norman Osborn.

It also reeks of the "movie > tv" logic, implying someone like Kingpin doesn't count due to the medium not being "main" enough despite DD's success.

Without a doubt Hiddleston's Loki and D'onofrio's Kingpin are great villains on par with any others out there including Ledger's Joker, Stamp's Zod, and both incarnations of Magneto. Outside of that who is great?

For tier 2, I'd put Winter Soldier and Ultron up there as well along with Dafoe's Osborn and Molina's Doc Ock.

I don't get why Ronan is better than Malekith honestly.

I'm really hoping Thanos doesn't disappoint. It's far too early to judge the quality of his villainy.

Why do some of you have to jump on the OP's ass? We're in the Marvel Films section, he asked about villains from the MCU films. Not that hard to understand.

Loki at the top, with Ultron and Alexander Pierce being close to it. Fisk is in the same category, if he counts.

1. Loki
2. Kingpin
3. Ultron
4. Abomination
5. Hydra
6. Red Skull
7. Ronan
8. Kurse
9. Iron Monger
10. Pierce

Loki and it's because he was the Villain in 2 out of the 11 MCU movies.

Everyone else is pretty much a one and done (Obadiah Stain, Abomination, Whip Lash, Red Skull, Killian, Malkeith, Alexander Pierce, Ronan or Ultron) or a secondary (Frost Giant, Algrim, Crossbones or Winter Soldier).

Obviously that may change with Thanos.

However, MCU is not alone in doing this. Every other Studio does it too.

This is like which X-Men Villain is the best and how can the answer not be Magneto?

That's an opinion not a fact.

Though I do have Hydra on my list.

The Red Skull, but Ronan was almost as fantastic.

Well by "main" he meant "main villains", but I can see what is happening with the TV shows.
