Best of Luck to those impacted by Ike

I don't know about the articles, but I heard it on CNN...

Its a Category 2 right now. But a strong one though....Oh I live like on the second floor on my house its just super windy though

[internet search]
Well, everything I find says Category 4, but this is a silly point of argument.

If you have ever seen any movies, you know what happens to the person that always says stuff like that. :o

Since you're still there, I would suggest hitting the basement or the lowest point in the house, seriously. **** being on the internet.

The only sourse of hope I have left for entertainment :csad:

Why would he go lower? That's where all the water is...

Oh, it hasn't gotten that bad there yet, according to Anderson Cooper.

Nope just Windy........but i guess according to the map ima about to get hit hard. Dont know whats there saying on TV cause my cable went out

Greetings all.

I lived thru Ike, although I am at a friends using his wireless connection.
I have no power what-so-ever at my house.

I dont know how long it will be, I live in the west side, so I think it will be soon.

How strong was it when it hit Houston? I went to bed when it was like 10 miles away.

I can only guess, that I had SUSTAINED winds of 65-75 mph, with bursts of wind to 100.

After being hit pretty hard myself by Gustav A few weeks ago. I hope all of the Texan Hypesters are safe with their families and or loved ones.

Glad to hear you're ok, Malice.

It's amazing that Hurricane hit Texas Saturday morning and the remnants of it was in Pennsylvania Sunday evening. We had close to 50 MPH gust. What also amazed me was the tempeture change. It was close to 90 degrees here last night.

We had 70 MPH winds here in Ohio. I'm in insurance, and I've been taking calls nonstop from people in Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. I don't even want to think about what this did before it got inland, because once it did, this thing wreaked some serious havoc.

if any SHH members are effected by Ike I would just like to say God Bless You and I hope everything goes well for you

Anybody see the news story on AOL with all the pictures from Ike? Pretty crazy stuff...
