Superman Returns Best Performance

Brandon, but I also loved what Sam did with Jimmy. I thought I was going to hate him and it was the opposite.

I enjoyed Sam's interpretation of Jimmy the best.

Brandon Routh. He was as close to a Christopher Reeve as we would ever get.

I voted for James Marsden as Richard. He was great.

Routh.

Maybe we can have an honarable mention for Tristan Lake Leabu for "Best Piano Chucker!" :oldrazz:

Brandon. Though I thought all of them were good. Especially Sam's Jimmy. I also appreciate that I didn't hate Jason because of him being awkward or not being able to act.

Brandon Routh was a stiff, empty, lifeless block of wood. The epitome of bland.

all in all, i thought routh was good. i hope in SR2 they let him lighten the character up a bit though

Brandon exceeded expectations. I would say he even exceeded the movie itself.

I didn't know coma patients had to do jazz or spaz dancing? I thought that was alien influenced superheros. ;) :oldrazz: :D

Just kidding. :)

Brandon saved the movie, in my opinion.

my top 3:

1.) Sam Huntington as Jimmy Olsen (i think he's the only one who gave 101% of himself in the whole movie)

2.) Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor

3.) Brandon Routh as Clark Kent/ Superman

4th would've been Parker Posey as Kitty.

i dont think it was very hard for sam to play jimmy.

As far as actual acting goes only Marsden gave a worthy performance.

marsden. a performance can only be as interesting as the character and he was the most interesting in the movie

1) Brandon Routh as Superman/Clark Kent (Spot on)

2) Spacey as Luthor/ Sam Huntington as Jimmy Olsen

3) James Marsden as Richard White

4) Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane/ Frank Langella as Perry White (only because they didnt define their characters as strongly)

do you even like superman? cause if you do then you wouldnt be hatin on Routh like that

Liking Superman and Brandon Routh as Superman are two entirely different things.

Routh was given a script in which he is "stiff, empty, lifeless block of wood" and "the epitome of bland." Now, it's true he pulled that off, but he was completely uninteresting.
