Brandon Routh may be the new Chrisopher Reeve, but someone else who have done a great job as Superman. I know it's too late but vote for the would-be Man of Steel.

NOTE: I didn't add Tom Welling in the poll because he was never considered for Superman. (Yes, sometimes the Internet can lie to us).

yea there should be more choices on that poll.

to be honest routh was perfect in the role BUT he needed more dialouge. still he is the new superman and im glad. seriously did you know awhile back wb wanted justin timberlake for superman? WTF

I would not want any of those to be Superman.....they are all too well known.....besides Routh Is Superman.......

1) James Caviezel.....I see Jesus

2) Bendan Frasier......I see George of the Jungle

3) Josh Hartnett......well, I see Josh Hartnett...nuff said

4) Last but not least Henry Cavill.....I see Henry VIII

Im sure that there are other unknown actors out there that would be great for the role, but again they absolutely picked the perfect person to fill Supes boots.

Routh is Superman to me, i couldnt see anyone else in the role now.

1) Brandon Routh.........I see (a Christina Aguilera video, MTV Undressed, and NOT SUPERMAN!) Nuff said!

2) Brendan Frasier....... I see Rick O'Connell (The Mummy)
Way to much of a goofy face to be taken serious, and he is just way to old for the part... Unless they are going with a story centered in Superman's life as a 40 year old.

3) Josh Hartnett..........Capt. Danny Walker (Pearl Horrible)
Has the look, acting chops, and size for the role, and yet he is so wrong for the part.
He has been in some good work but I will always have the bad memories of Pearl Horrible to make me not want him in the role... But it could have been worse! They could have cast some guy right off the MTV lot... oh wait.

4) Henry Cavill............Albert Mondego (Count of Monte Cristo)
Has the look, and is a good actor but is just way to young unless they are doing a movie about Superman's origin, and then, and only then would he be good.

5) James Caviezel........Edmond Dantes (The Count of Monte Cristo)
I know I know a lot of people see him as Jesus but honestly that movie sucked! Count of Monte Cristo on the other hand is a classic epic movie! And to be honest he would have been good as Superman had he got the role, and bulked up 25pounds of pure muscle!

I agree with BareKnucklez.

They should of picked an actor who had a personality and experience, instead of some guy who's only done a couple of school plays and a few stints on a soap opera.

 Awesome, he totally embodied the character for me.

Wow, so in a thread about someone else playing Superman, you still have to spam your propaganda.

What a joke. It's funny, I actually thought Routh was good, the only good thing in a crappy film, but can't you even put your delusions aside for a second. We know that to Singermen, the film is perfect, it's the greatest Superman film ever and it made billions of dollars, but are you people that life-less that you can't for a second either play along with the thread, or keep your mouth shut.

I like Fraser. I thought he would have been perfect.
