Best Rock Band.

I know this is a movie thread board but i was wondering who was everyone favorite rock band for there has been rock band music in movies as well as on MTV. So which is the best rock/metal band may it be old or new. Ofcourse bands i liked back in the day for some reason don't sound a cool. But i think i have a great list. This should be my best poll ever.
