I agree, those pithy achievements totally pale in comparison to...Harry getting his ass handed to him by Peter twice! No wait, alright, how about...Sandman punching Spider-man with sand parts and robbing a couple banks! That's fine if you don't like Venom, but at least try to make a real argument.

Dark Peter would seriously have been interesting to see. Since he was liked through out the movie, he could lose progressively that, and turn against himself, the hero. Then enter Venom in the end, prepared for the fourth. But, who am I to speak. Better to have multiple villains at once and few time to deepen a precise story.

I loved Topher as Eddie and Venom. So good. Speaking of which, I had to choose Harry. He was so involved in this movie, you go from being like "Whoa he's fighting his friend." to liking him when he has amnesia to hating him when he tries ruining Pete's life, you know...the wink and all. Then by the end you like him again because he sacrificed himself for his best friend. Harry Osborn hands down with Venom a very, very close second.

The spider-man mythos?? The hell you talking about? You should try reading the comics, if anyone who deserves the title of destroying the spider-man mythos, I can list a few names but names like Mackie even JMS and especially that c*nt-face Quesada ahve Raimi and Arad beat, easily.

if you read my first post on this board you'd realise i don't have any favourites in this film and i've expressed my views on each of the villains with some details...

so please don't make me come across as being biased...

I think Venom was because, you have to be honest, he looked cool! He could fight well, although he was only in it for 25mins or so. But the bad thing was his weakness... sound 'hurts' him, wtf?!
