best way to get rid of comics

I just came into a bunch of comics. Thats great, except that a ton of them are duplicates of what I already own. I want to unload this stuff but since what I buy is mostly small press stuff, the local stores have no idea what Im trying to sell them. First apppearance of Madman? early Strangers In Paradise? Bone? What is that crap?

Is there anywhere that speciallizes in indie books or whatever? Theres probably a few boxes full of random issues of stuff that is taking up space...I'm considering telling them that Wolverine debuted in an issue of Hepcats or something...I am resisting the urge to go the Ebay route....

Yeah, most of the routes, besides Ebay, usually don't work out. I have a ton of extras that I would rather trade than sell at a much lower price than they are worth. (And, comic shops usually don't want our extras, unless it's the really rare stuff...and, they still won't give us anywhere near even half the value.)

I used to donate them to kids charities. Of course, after awhile I was
flooding them and they said enough! ha! But it's a good idea!

Thats how i do it. I dont keep any single issue comics.
