Best & Worst "Witch" Movies?

I think we're talking about witches in the popular usage sense. Conan (???), Harry Potter, etc. don't really have a place here IMO.

Witches and wizards/warlocks/male magicians are completely different.

The witch represents the male fear of women, and the power they have through non-violent means, traditionally hard for the male mind to understand.

The only one I've seen is The Balir Witch Project and it was horrible.

I haven't seen it, but I'm sure that Sandra Bullock/Nicole Kidman witch movie is really bad.

Practical Magic was decent. Not among the best, but not horrible. Kidman was pretty hot in it.

I remember my parents coming home from the movie theater after seeing The Blair Witch Project, and going on and on about how bad it was, calling it The Blair **** Project.

I actually like The Blair Witch Proyect for what it is, a fear of the unknown movie filmed "school documentary style" with a great "we swear it's real". viral marketing campaign
The Blair Witch Proyect 2 on the other hand IS one of the worst movies of all time.

Hocus Pocus

- The sequence of Sarah Jessica Parker enchanting the kids of Salem by singing, "Come little children, I'll take thee away...." is great and really classic witch-like stuff.
