I think its awesome how much everyone loves Ant-Man...before the movie, I was like "eh, who cares" and now I'm like "gimme all the Scott!"

Thank the movie for that, it did a great job of getting the character into peoples hearts.

It is def great that Scott is like that guy everyone wants to hang out with. Thats why having actors with senses of humor sometimes is better than just serious dullards. They create that relatable human aspect these kinds of movies need. Its about more than just super powers.

Given on how "Ant-Man" established that Hank Pym has no love for the Avengers, I wonder how it's even possible for Scott to get involved in this conflict as Ant-Man. I mean Hank Pym still owns the suit, so would he really allow Scott to use it in order to help Captain America's cause in the film? Or does Scott just steal it, without Hank's approval/knowledge, because of his own personal interest in the situation?

That's a good question. I hope the MCU doesn't kill off or marginalize Hank. He was far more interesting than Scott. It would be sweet to see Hank be the one to become Giant Man, but that's probably hoping for too much on my part.

It would be cool if Hank became like Scott's version of Q in the James Bond movies. Always coming up with new cool gadgets for him to use. Or just a confidant he can talk to about his missions.

I don't think Pym has warm feelings for superheros in general. But he didn't like the government using him or his formula as their weapons, so he might not be keen on superheros being government tools.

Also, it's very possible that Cap and Hank knew each other, or at least knew of each other from their war days. I'm not totally sure of that timeline.

Cap would be in his 90s if he was a reg guy. Hank was probably born at the end of WW2 or a little after. Hes about in his early 70s. I think in the MCU he started out in the 60s at SHIELD and left in 1989.

I think they probably mean for Hank to be (roughly) the same age as Michael Douglas actually is. They aged MD down to what he looked like when he was about mid-40's... which that time period in his own life matches around around the time when that prologue in Ant-Man takes place in the MCU (late 80's).

If this is the case, Hank wouldn't have been much more than a baby when Cap was active in WWII

Yeah in 1989, Hank is like MD at that time. For reference, he made Black Rain that year, one of my favorite crime films.

Depends on what u mean by Back because he can always turn back to han size.

Not to mention, he can use the particles again for CW, which can eventually push him past the line of crazy. What if Ant Man and The Wasp was a story of trying to stop Giant man and get his head back together... getting the real Hank back? That could work as another great movie if done right.

I really fail to see how this could work...

The title of the movie is "Ant-Man AND The Wasp", not "The Wasp vs Ant-Man". Plus, isn't the "ally vs ally" concept already the main general concept for Civil War? Why do it again right after?

I must have not been clear. This would not be a Ant man vs Wasp, but Ant man and the wasp vs giant man. (Aka Hank Pym) But they would be trying to help him not go crazy and get back to normal. (The pym particles mess with his brain and turn him crazy like in the comics)

oh no doubt, can't wait to see him like pick up an airplane and launch it at someone
I'm also wondering what type of cinematography tricks they use when he blows up
the macro photography in Ant-Man was so cool, hopefully they do something equally as cool here
maybe just like a tilt-shift camera effect to make the other heroes look like ants scurrying about in comparison to Scott
