Big Trouble In Little China.

I had seen the film once or twice on t.v. and always really liked it, I bought the special edition DVD for my birthday the other week, and watching the other night, I was thinking how it's such a special movie, ahead of it's time, and the likeability factor of it is sky high.

Best Dialogue.
Never boring or unfun to watch.

If I listed all the classic quotes it would only be a little shorter than the script.

I love it.
I've seen it, who knows, 50 times?
Also, the commentary is where we learn that Kurt Russel loves Led Zeppelin.

Forget Darth Vader, forget Freddy Krueger, forget Goldfinger, forget every other movie villain ever; Lo Pan is the greatest there will ever be.

When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, looks you crooked in the eye and asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail."
Just brilliant.

Back when I was a little kid I used to watch this movie at my grandpa's everyday. I always thought it was really , but I haven't even seen it in so many years. I can barely remember it. Maybe I'll rent it today.

It's just one of those films where you wonder how the hell they thought of it. It's quite amazing. The fantasticalness of it all.
Too bad it did terrible at the box office... little chance of a sequel.

I think as in, it was a premise that had never really been looked upon before, and the ideas and everything about it was fresh, and more in time for present days.

I love this freakin' movie. The funny thing is is that it's stupid. It's goofy and tongue in cheek. That's not the type of humor I usualy like but this movie is great.
