"Big Trouble in Little China" Worst Movie Ever Made?

BTILC is one of my all time favorite movies. Definately in my top 5. This movie gave birth to on of the biggest badasses in 80s cinema, Lightning. As a matter of fact, can someone make me a lightning avatar-specifically his intro scene when he's doing those formations with his hands?

No way, it's always been a personal favorite since i was a little boy back in the 80's. You can't go wrong with a guy that expands, turns into a garbage Pail Kid and explodes a bunch of salad.

God I'd hate to live in a miserable world where BTILC wasn't one of the best movie ever made.
It's one of the only perfect movies I've ever seen.
I think I've seen it more than I've seen Star Wars.

I swear people must just be jealous of Jack Burton so it makes them squirm, knowing they'll never be so Jack Burton.

what i like about BIG TROUBLE is this clearly jack burton was clueless about what was going on and was CLEARLY out of his league [kind of like you or me blundering into a modern superhero movie] trying to recover his stolen truck and cargo but he didn't run out when the going got tough he pulled, or at least tried to pull his weight

Actually all of the John Carpenter/Russell films are pure gold...that is until Escape from La which deserves the worst film of the year well before "Big Trouble in Little China". No way any real men voted in this poll. I can understand if some people didn't like it but...worst movie? Yeah right. Jack Burton rules...period.

Apparently Hollywood North Report didn't bother to read the article. Maxim didn't call it the worst movie of all time. They called it the "Best bad movie ever". Which is a fair assessment.

I really enjoy Big Trouble in Little China

Its a cult movie, that would appeal to a more cult centered fan of movie, so I could see how if you have a very centeral taste in movies you would think it is ****, but Kurt Russel is the Duke, to Bruce Campbells kingdom in my opinion, and it is a fun movie
