Big Trouble in Little China.

Awesome movie loved it since I was a kid and now own it on dvd. I was always upset we never gotta sequel especially with that final scene

I love this movie. The final action scene is one of those things that is permanently etched into my childhood memories. I remember I only saw the last action scene on TV when I was a kid, and then years later I finally found out which movie it was from. It was so ridiculously awesome though that it stayed with me all of those years, without even knowing which movie it was from.

Can't wait for the blu-ray release. Extended, alternate ending, and nine deleted scenes. And hopefully amazing picture and audio.

2 questions, 1 will it have all the stuff on the rare out of print 2 disc set and 2, when does it come out :woot:?

Always loved this movie and can't wait to eventually own it on Blu-ray.

It doesn't need either a sequel or remake. Especially without Kurt Russell or John Carpenter. It's just unnecessary.

I obviously get that Russell's going to take presidence on the cover given that he's the lead draw, but it is kinda off that they didnt put the real hero of the movie on the cover at all, especually when his comedy sidekick is up close and centred.

It's good to see people acknowledge the greatness of this movie. But i do agree with brian b that wang chi should have been on the bluray cover and my boy lightning as well.

Hell, they put Wang's girl on the cover and he couldn't even get in.

Crazy, isnt it? The only thing I can think of is that it's a legal thing, whatever it may be.

I mean, I'd like to think it was a legal thing. Surely no one can be that ignorant on purpose?

Wang is part of my favorite scene in the movie when he trashes a whole set of goons while Jack 1) realizes his gun is jammed, 2) fiddles grabbing his knife, 3) throws said knife accidentally offscreen, and of course the classic: 4) JUMPS BACK IN READY FOR BATTLE......with the entire group of enemies laid out.

And they put his woman (AND THE RANDOM ACTION STUNT GUY WHO SHOWS UP IN A LOT OF MOVIES MOST NOTABLY LETHAL WEAPON AS THE DUDE WHO TRIES TO ELECTROCUTE RIGGS) on the cover instead of him.

What the ell?

Wang is like..the true hero of this movie if you think about it. Anytime you see Jack Burton, he doesn't know what he's doing! haha.
