Biggest 4hole heroes in movies

My sentiments exactly. I actually like Wolverine in DOFP, The Wolverine and Logan.

I actually haven't cared much for him in his solo outings tbh. A little too angst-ridden for me, and Mangold likes to lay it on extra thick.

Have to agree on Stark - up until Civil War anyway- his arrogance put the entire world at risk a couple of times. In Civil War he comes across as more sympathetic because he's essentially trying to atone for past misdeeds and get a glimpse of him in a very vulnerable state (when seeing his parents murdered) but up until that point he was a strong contender for one of the MCU's bigger *****e bags.

As for Rhodes, yeah he actually called in the strike that crippled him - I mean what would have happened if that blast had actually hit Sam, who wasn't anywhere near as heavily armoured as Rhodey ? I do feel sorry for him, as paralysis is something you wouldn't wish on anyone. However, Rhodes main reason for signing the accords seemed to be that Ross told him to - as in he's being a "good little soldier" , which seemed weird as he should have seen something in the fact that the greatest soldier in history wasn't keen on signing at all (and was sitting there right across the table from him).

Still I don't think either of these characters can claim biggest 4shole honours, more like "jerk of the month" awards.

To be fair to Rhodes he told Vision to "turn him into a glider". Meaning Vision was meant to take out his jetpack but spare his wings so Falcon could land safely.

But yeah Rhodes is kind of a jerk. Get a holier-than-thou attitude from him. His "Congrats Cap yer a criminal" line also irks me. Tbh I liked Howard a lot more than Cheadle in the role.

Agreed, I know that Vision wasn't intending to kill anyone but if that blast was powerful enough that it tore through Rhodes' armour like it wasn't even there, imagine what it would have done to Sam.

and yeah, it's kind of rich him sniping at Cap - I mean in CW I get the impression that a big part of why Rhodes goes along with the accords because Ross says its a good idea (and he has a medal !)

I don't know how many medals Cap has, but if someone like him suggests they might not be a good idea, it's worth thinking about. Rhodes attitude is kind of annoying.

Still doesn't really qualify him for biggest 4sshole though.

I like Rhodey, but yeah, Civil War was not his best day. Especially since he is the best placed of those on Team Iron Man to:

1. Recognize Ross' BS for what it is, including outright Illegal Orders

2. Notice that his best friend Tony is having a nervous breakdown

And yet he did neither.

But Rhodes is also the one most likely to be the most comfortable if there's a chain of command in place, as he's a military guy through and through. I think he was acting perfectly within his character, which does of course in no way make him not annoying.

Problem is, he's a high ranking colonel. Chain of command is one thing, but he's *supposed* to be trained and skilled at being near the *top* of said chain. That entails a lot of taking responsibility, not passing it along to someone else.

A colonel isn't exactly the leader of the military, let alone the state that controls the military. This is the discussion about what they see as a para-military unit either operating on their own, or being governed like all real military factions. And the Avengers would all be close under the highest heads, they wouldn't be at the bottom of any large military organization, so the colonel position doesn't really differ much. Rhodey's opinion falls exactly where I expected it to.

Batman DCEU kill henchman for no reason beacuse his view about the whole life change and didn't kill main villian who clearly more guilty than nobody's henchman what a hole he became.

Wolverine in the original X-Men trilogy.

Largely unlikable and has a creepy fixation on a woman he doesn't know very well, acts like a jerk when it isn't warranted.

So like comic book Wolverine......

Even in X2 and Last Stand, I can't really stand him. He's definitely at his worst in X1, though.

Wolverine being a creepy hot headed jerk is from the comics. Even the passive aggressive jealous ass**** behavior towards Cyclops is from the comics.

One moment that sticks in my mind is this Muir Island Saga issue

I would say Prof X. One of the most dangerous character in comics and on film. Too much power for one person.
