Yea you can tell it wasn't Jonah's writing there.
I gotta tell you, although it came out as rather cheesy, how would you expect a police officer to react to a tank flying on rooftops? With boredom and yawning? Is that the same guy as "Atleast tell me what it looks like......nevermind" "HE'S FLYING ON ROOFTOPS!" Haha.
I didnt like that. Might be more realistic, but i cant bare watching it for more than 5 seconds. TDK's sonar was unrealistic to a point but you have to remember that it is supposed to look awesome and to be able to inform us, the audience of what is going on. And remember, this a batman movie. At the beggining of the film the batmobile did a lot of crazy stuff. So come on, what did you guys want, the sonar from Red October? This is something I found on youtube. Now, this is not exactly what I would have done with the sonar vision, but its pretty close. Basically I wanted the sonar vision to look a little more rigid, a little more real.
Check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uq9yw3QNdfo
Ignore the thing in the middle. I would want it rigid like this, like a grid map of the building, showing the people inside. And batman can pull the sonar vision into a side bar, so he can view both the sonar and what is actually there.
Really? That was the plan?I think most people would agree that Begins (and TDK) would have been soooo much better if they'd had Dent in BB instead of Rachel Dawes, like what they originally planned to do.
I agree. Actually in BB it came out of the blue. I never expected a romance but i said "Nolan didnt have time to focus on that" and accepted it. Since his story was awesome, that really was a minor annoyance for me.The problem with Rachel has always been that they never developed her relationship with Wayne or Dent. We are expected to believe that both men love her to the extent that they are going to turn their backs on their life's work for her or out of vengeance for her.
But we never see why either man loves her. In BB Wayne and Raxhel have about three scenes together and other than the fact that one is a man and the other is a woman and in movies they get together, there is no reason to believe that they have a deep love. In TDK Dent and Rachel are already dating and we are just told that they are deeply in love, we never see it develop.
And because her roles are never developed we don't buy into her importance.
um the biggest dissapointment for is that either 2-face died or maybe the joker laughs ya that was pathetic.Or maybe bales horrid voive i understand the concept for that voive but i think it should sound more like micheal keeton's voice his was good

I think he's trying to say that Joker's laugh sucked?![]()
I couldn't disagree more, really. I found his laugh to be one of the biggest highlights of the first trailer. It got me even more anxious to see TDK. And of course, it was great in the movie itself. I loved when he laughed at the helicopter getting blown up, and the laugh he did when Bats threw him off of the building.
That's what I thought too, but it didn't make sense because I think most people can agree the Joker had a spectacular set of laughs.
Do you mean Ledger's laugh by itself, or how it was presented throughout the movie? If it's the latter, I can see where you're coming from and I felt that way during the first viewing. But if it's the former, I don't know....watch this condensed clip with all his laughs one after the other:I can't say there's anything specially wrong with Joker's laughs but it didn't sound/feel like the classic Joker for me where the Ha's filled the screen and rang out like hell. I got that with Nicholson but not with Ledger. Sure, in the trailer it sounded great because I thought that was just a sample, but it was all I got from the laughs. Again, that was far from a dissapointment for me.
The best laugh was when he was walking into the meeting with the mob bosses. It was the only original one, IMO
But you hit the nail on the head with the laughs. There was alot of Caesar in them and none of the sadistic Jack laughs. I know the mob boss scene laugh was meant to be sarcastic in tone, but it wasn't the high pitched cackle that we got from Caesar and Jack in the past. Too bad the laugh wasn't more original all around.I really liked that one and the interrogation room laugh.![]()
I'd strongly argue his last scene was definitely sadistic. Asides from the mob room, that was the only other laugh that stood out in delivery. But you hit the nail on the head with the laughs. There was alot of Caesar in them and none of the sadistic Jack laughs.
I'm not sure I'd even want that, heh. All the Joker laughs so far have had their own unique stamp, but quite clearly are all cut from the same cloth. I would assume this is because how Joker's laugh should sound in the public collective unconsciousness is roughly the same, which is why there are very similar cadences throughout them.I know the mob boss scene laugh was meant to be sarcastic in tone, but it wasn't the high pitched cackle that we got from Caesar and Jack in the past. Too bad the laugh wasn't more original all around.
