and for the record... unless you change a hell of alot in photoshop my rule stands the same with originality... hell have you seen some of these "fan made movie poster" on these boards? when nothing is changed much they look horrible, when alot is altered and done right they look amazing.
I understand what you're saying, but your wording is terrible.
Re-drawing an image, and drawing an original image both require skill...it's just a different type of skill. Whether you're drawing an original, or recreating an existing picture you're still using skill. It's a challenge to create an original picture from your imagination, but it's also a challenge to duplicate something that's already been done....and possibly recognized by countless people.
His "recreations" do require talent because he is using a program not everone knows. Knowing Illustrator, Photoshop...etc could be considered a "skill" for a job, it doesn't matter what you use it for.
