I loved most of the game. Gonna try to get the Platinum trophy over the summer but I'm taking a break from it for now so it'll be more fresh when I do it again.

So I just beat the game and Holy Hell. I guessed a bit of the ending but not the whole thing. Not even close. I freaking love the Bioshock series.

Yeah I swung hard with a couple of my guesses but its the kind of ending you can't really put together until you've seen it already.

I can't believe I missed posting this, but yeah, this is probably my favorite game I have ever played. Perfection imo. Everything I wanted and more.

On the ending, I guessed a lot of the ending, but not all of it.

Levine has been asked that since early June, and he has declined to tender a release date. It is going to be a while, I imagine.

so I finally got around to playing this, and while I'm not the biggest FPS fan, I'm really enjoying this so far. moreso for the story and the "atmosphere".

actually, I kind of already spoiled myself of the general ending......lol

not all the specifics, but the general twist.

but I still want to play through it.

Just beat the game a second time, still didn't get all the viewpoints and recordings. I searched friggin everywhere!!! GAH!

ok so some dlc is on the way. for those did do the season pass stuff and other stuff that was left out of it.

BioShock Infinite Premium DLC now available separately on Steam

Steam has released the BioShock Infinite "Columbia's Finest" DLC as a separate download, available now for $4.99. This DLC was initially included with the Premium and Ultimate editions of the game at launch, and adds 500 Silver Eagles and 5 lockpicks to your stash, along with six exclusive gear items. You'll also get two weapon upgrades: Comstock's China Boom Shotgun, and Comstock's Eagle Eye Sniper Rifle.

This content is not part of the season pass that Irrational Games announced back in February, which promises access to three separate pieces of downloadable content in the future.

Yeah, I was confused about it when I saw the DLC up on XBL yesterday.

And even though I bought the Premium Edition, I might buy it just to get the Comstock's China Boom Shotgun, and Comstock's Eagle Eye Sniper Rifle.

I might get the dlc. The lockpicks and money are no big deal but the weapons might be neat. I usually end the game with $2000 and 20 lockpicks anyway.

After thinking about it for a few months and having played it a few times, I honestly have to say this:

Bioshock Inifinite is my favorite game of all time. It has officially dethroned Halo: Combat Evolved for me. Damn, I never thought this day would come, but I'm glad it did.

Future BioShock Infinite DLC will take you back to Rapture
Combat arena stopgap out today, full-blooded detective story to follow.

The first of BioShock Infinite's three promised instalments of downloadable content is finished and goes on sale today, Irrational Games has revealed.

However, the bigger news is that the second and third DLC packs will form a two-part detective story set in Rapture.

Called Burial at Sea, it will star Booker and Elizabeth as private investigator and femme fatale respectively, and you will get to play as both of them.

The DLC pack released today is called Clash in the Clouds. It's a wave-based arena game that makes the most of Infinite's varied combat system.

It also includes new voxophones, written by creative director Ken Levine, as well as kinetoscopes and other unlockable goodies to keep fans happy.

It has been a difficult past week for me. On my second to last day at work, the utility pole we were installing slipped and fell, striking me on the head, and supplying a concussion. Having said that, this news made my day and supplied something I needed: something to look forward to in the immediate future.

While I'll definitely play through the challenge pack, Bioshock 2's challenge pack was a lot of fun. Really can't wait for the Burial at Sea DLCs, going back to Rapture as Booker and Elizabeth sounds aweome! While I liked Columbia, I really did miss Rapture and glad the new DLC will take us back there.
