Bioshock Infinite

I found the second time was almost as good since all the foreshadowing was so obvious once you knew the whole story. My jaw dropped at the ending the first time around though.

I thought the second time was even better, as I savored all the details.

BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition is available today on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms for $40. This version includes the core skyhook swinging adventure, along with all the game's add-on content. Yup, even the Burial at Sea adventures.

Although publisher 2K previously mentioned a PC version, that does not seem to be the case anymore. No biggie, since the game and all of its content will be like $5 during the upcoming holiday Steam sale. We've listed all the content for BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition after the break.BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea Part 2 (3/25/2014)

BioShock seemingly finally coming to new-gen consoles.

The Brzail Advisory Rating Board has rated “BioShock: The Collection” for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

The BioShock series consists of BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite. This would be the first time these games appear on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.

2K Games has yet to officially announce the collection.

That's weird, I'm pretty sure this is pretty old news. I remember that rating popping up a few months ago.

^ I think back in September there was some international retailer that had a listing for a Bioshock collection, but nothing official was ever announced since.

hopefully, this is yet another sign that a Collection is forthcoming for the new gen systems and we'll get an official announcement soon.

Bioshock Infinite is one of the few prior gens games I miss playing, along with Skyrim.

That was a retailer leaking the collection. This is actually a rating from a board. Much more likely to be true with this leaking as opposed to the retailer leaking.

I've wanted this for a long time and certainly hope it is true.

I really hope this is true. Maybe an announcement at E3.

bioshock's getting remastered.

Rated by the ESRB. Can you announce it now, 2K?

BioShock-Collection-ESRB-Rated.jpg

After being rated in Brazil and Taiwan, and still without an official announcement, the Entertainment Software Rating Board has rated BioShock: The Collection, confirming it will include all three BioShock first-person shooters—those being BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite.
Here is the ESRB’s description:
This is a collection of three first-person shooters in which players assume the role of characters uncovering the mysteries behind the dystopian societies of Rapture and Columbia. As players explore each city, they use shotguns, machine guns, rivet guns, and rocket launchers to kill mutated citizens and enemy soldiers. Players can also use special powers (e.g., telekinesis, fire blasts, electric bolts) to kill enemies as well as a three-pronged hook to dismember and decapitate them. Large blood-splatter effects occur as enemies are injured; pools of blood can be seen around corpses.
Cutscenes also depict intense acts of violence: characters shot in the head at close range; a woman smothered to death with a pillow; a man impaled by a drill; a character nearly lobotomized with surgical tools. The game references sexual material in the dialogue (e.g., “I think yeh gave me the clap, ya dirty boy,” “Gonorrhea! That’s what you’ll get,” and “Sexual intimacy is no different from any other commodity friend. You sell soybeans I sell companionship.”).
During the course of the game, players can consume alcoholic beverages, resulting in a screen-blurring effect; a handful of scenes depict children smoking cigarettes. The social/political backdrop of one fictional city (set in the year 1912) includes the use of derogatory ethnic/racial terms (e.g., the words “gook,” “chink,” “negroes,” “injuns,” “crackers”); language such as “f**k,” “*****,” and “c*nt” can also be heard.
