Sci-Fi Bioshock Movie

BI was fairly lighter than Bioshock so it could hit a PG13 or more easily. Bioshock with it's rampant drug use, crazy mutilated enemies and murder scenes plays more like an R horror movie than anything.

I'd be happy if we could just get a confirmation and a verification that it would be faithful to the source material.

I wouldn't mind a Bioshock Infinite movie.

I would still prefer the classic rapture bioshock to infinite

There is another, darker name that must not be uttered. His initials are U.B. which incidently can stand for Uncontrollable Bowels.

If you say his name three times, he comes out of a mirror and directs a god-awful movie of your favorite video game, killing it's future.

They're already done that to Mortal Kombat so I think it's safe. The first one was great and I don't want to talk about the second.

Paul W. S. Anderson actually did the first one and it was good, inexplicably. That other unnamable guy did other video game movies that all died horrible deaths.

Natalie Portman would make an amazing Brigid tenenbaum. Then again this would make an amazing tv series like American gods

Sorry, I wanted to talk :( I miss rapture and there’s no better time for it than now.

Except when the first game came out of course

I really would like to see some kind of new material come out of Bioshock. A game or a movie, even a well written book would be nice.

Who’s seen A Cure for Wellness? Close enough?

Based on the rumors Teelie, 2K Games has a new studio creating a new game. So you'll probably get a brand-new game at least.

I'm glad to see this finally get made, but this is Netflix.

Yep, but they did produce a pretty good adaptation of a popular game recently so... cautiously optimistic?

I was just thinking about Verbinski's attempt the other day. Wonder if it would be any more financially-feasible to accomplish now with StageCraft being a thing. And yea, I got really excited until my expectations were brought back in check with Netflix. I'm really hoping their output this year finally produces some real standouts from their TV-Movie-of-the-Week limbo.
