Ok errors in this story: Ollie had Red gloves and boots back then: Ollie started just after Bats so he whould then also be a rookie.
But even wioth that i see no problem with Bats calling Dinah rookie, even thou she did help start the JLA, it must have been when she first started.

ohh and the baddy seems to be merlyn

None of your errors are actually errors because this is post-IC continuity, remember? Totally separate from the continuities that preceded it. Again. So, apparently, this time around Ollie had green boots and gloves and started long enough after Bats that Batman felt comfortable calling him a rookie. Of course, that could just be bluster on Batman's part, which is actually what I chalked it up to.

or it could be that Bats trained for years before hitting the streets, while ollie got bored one day and started kicking ass
but in all flachbacks to ollies early days in the last year has shown him in redboots and gloves and a red feather.
And the lasttime was in BOP #100 in a story writen and drawn by the same guys that are dooing this mini
