The biggest shopping day of the year is less than a month away and the deals are starting to be revealed!

What are you looking to buy on Black Friday? What deals are you hoping to find? What would you like to see go on sale for Black Friday? Any speculations are welcome too!

Spend that money yall!

I'll probably pick up a bunch of random Blu-Rays.

CC gearing up, boy.

I have big plans for a computer (building one).

But I also have some money set aside for any miscellaneous deals.

I was very happy with what I bought last year, but there were deals on a lot of stuff I never even thought about.

As you were, peasant.

Only thing I'm doing on Black Friday is sleep :p

I'm always on the prowl for deals on blu rays, games, & random electronics or gadgets.

This is going to be a really good one for tablets. Probably the first time you can grab a new iPad – without killing anyone – for 200 dollars. I might pick up an iPad Mini if the price is right.

I'm hoping to get a 50 or 60" HDTV. My last couple roommates had a TV so I never needed one - getting a new roommate and neither of us have a big one.

I have Amazon Prime so I get great deals all year long and it comes right to my door. Black Friday can suck it

I might pick up a game if there's a really good deal. But I will have just that month gotten Fallout 4 and Battlefront, so idk.
I also might grab a Blu-Ray if there's a good sale.

I'll probably get some blu-rays, a game or two, and I'll try to find a a pair of 7.1 headphones on sale for the Xbox One I'm buying.

Retailers have special TVs that are designed to look like high-end TVs which they only sell on holidays like Black Friday. At first glance, they look identical to the ones you see throughout the year, but are of inferior quality.

Almost all brands do this now, including high-end ones like Sony, Samsung and Panasonic.

An easy give away is if your 50 inch TV only has 2 HDMI ports. It means they clearly cut corners. But you can also tell by looking up the serial numbers.

That Panasonic you buy on Black Friday may actually be worse than a store-brand TV they sell year round for the same price.

Black Friday is probably the worst time to buy a TV if you don't know much about them. It's when they try to sell the subpar sets, and the derivative models.

You can actually get a good TV, but just be careful.

But game systems are fair game.

If I had the money I'd get either an Xbox One or a PS4.

Oh definitely.

You get a lot of bang for your buck, and this is probably the fiercest console war we've ever seen (and I grew up during the SEGA-Nintendo war).

I'm not in the market personally, but if you haven't gotten a PS4 or Xbone, now is the time. For 400 dollars, you'll get a console, a new good game or two, and maybe an extra controller or a year of PS Plus or Gold.

Last year was a terrible time to buy a console.

Best Buy usually puts up their black friday ad/catalog at the start of November, right?

I have their elite plus or whatever membership. I figure I'd get an e-mail.

It's actually pretty nice. I get special deals, and fast free shipping on everything.

Lol, Sears.

Actually I say that, but I got Mario Kart 8 from them last year for 30 bucks. I sold it last month for 45. One hell of a deal.
