Woman pepper sprays other Black Friday shoppers

You don't make the rules.

Neither do you, or Marx, or anyone.

But if we are going to play this game, either mock the people for standing in line for both movies, or not at all.

That's a moddy thing to say now....wasn't it? :awesome:

Then I'm dragging Ghost Rider into it as well. :o

my point was.....quality of whatever movie aside....we have become so focused on the material, the entertainment, the label, that we wait in line for hours on end and trample each other....and for what? to save a buck or two, because society tells us we need these things or should wear this or that thing and it somehow makes us better than others??

does no one else see the ridiculousness here?

Ive lived on the same street for almost 3 years now and I can count on one hand the number of times Ive talked to my neighbors

sad, but Ive become so disgusted with the human race I feel Im better off

I am currently dancing around my computer to "Born This Way" and hitting refresh every verse or so.

The human race disgusts me too, they mill slowly around with their mouths hanging open like cattle, how am I supposed to not feel superior to them?

I see it.

But honestly...I will wait in line for anything Alien and Predator. :D

And I love stuff. I honestly could not be 100% happy without stuff. I can't tell you why...but I just like material things.

I wouldn't fight anyone over it, and i'd glady pass it all over to save my family or friends...but I still enjoy buying useless ****. It pleases me.

I think if you're good about it, and don't destory yourself over it, it's alright.

It's definitely ridiculous and your point is not lost man.

And by stuff, I mean the stuff that allows me to have fun...like cameras, computers and editing equipment.

because you're just as bad, you just can't admit it and that puts you beneath them

in my uninformed opinion....so go wear your Express and think you're better....sure it helps you sleep at night

There's really no need for the personal digs.

Agreed. Buying a more expensive version of the same thing just for the label and bragging rights doesn't make anyone better. I've always thought that to be a ridiculous train of thought.

I'd actually like to know where are these Walmarts that everybody goes to that are so terrible. I've only been to the ones in New York state but they've been as clean as any Target, Kmart and Best Buy I've been to. From the descriptions here you'd think the floors were covered in food and all the boxes opened already.

^ My Wal-Mart used to smell like vomit and fried chicken. It's just a dirty place, with a lot of dirty people. And creepers. Especially at night.

And in the day, it's filled, and the lines take hours. I always feel sick if I am there longer then 30 minutes.

the last time I went to the one in the town I live in always had lights there were out, so it was dim and the floors always had something somewhere in them.....mystery stains and whatnot

Wow. No wonder I can't relate. The ones I go to are kept pretty clean and there's not nearly as many interesting people as peopleofwalmart.com lead me to believe. I was actually pretty disappointed. :csad:

I'm not better because I wear Express, I'm better because I have an imagination, I can walk and chew gum at the same time, I have a grasp of the English language, I don't hate or fear something just because it doesn't look or sound like me.

I think, therefore I am.

btw, an hour or so ago I was walking around Express fiddling with my iPhone while drinking Starbucks hot cocoa.

I just realized midway what a walking stereotype of a "latte liberal" I was in that moment, and it amused me.

All of the Walmarts I've been to have been very clean and well kept. I've only ever seen a "person of walmart" a couple of times.

I've seen some pretty weird-looking individuals at Wal-Mart, but also at K-Mart, mostly at night.

not even that....you're just a walking stereotype of our bankrupt consumer culture

but at least you realize it
