Great choice's. I really hope Hollywood doesn't forget Barkhad. And Nonso is SO underrated.
I was actually going to suggest Barkhad as an out of the box casting for brother Voodoo.

Edit: I just googled Zawavari. I cosign that choice. Would be a cool reoccurring role for Barkhad.

I think Wesley Snipes should get a supporting part in the Black Panther movie, since it was him really trying to get the film made even before he did Blade.

I don't think it well help or hurt the franchise moving forward. It's just unfortunate because a lot of people loved the idea of the couple. Every year you see black couples cosplaying as T'Challa and Storm.

If it hurts anyone it's Storm. That character is NEVER going to be treated properly in the X-Men films. Even in the comics she's stuck in the X-men which honestly looks like a sinking ship. They tried to give her a solo series but it bombed.

I assume if they give T'Challa a love interest in the movies they'll go with Monica Lynne. I've long thought it'd be a good idea to cast Nicole Beharie ( from sleepy Hollow) in the role. Beharie and Boseman worked together in "42" and showed they had great on screen chemistry

I don't think it will hurt at all. I always felt that there relationship was forced/tacked on for fan service. It didn't last long enough to be considered a defining or significant moment in T'callas life imo.
If they want to create a super couple they could pair T'challa up with Monica Rambeau.

Many of us have stated that Denzel for T'Chaka is not a possibility unless T'Chaka's role is expanded to where he dies in the final act of the movie.

She way too young. Nobody would look at her and think she's Chadwick Boseman's mother.

Plus there are plenty of older black actresses that would kill at the the part:

Lynn Whitfield
Mary Alice
Debbie Morgan

I love Phylicia Rashad but I'm afraid she might be stunt casting as someone's mother at this point.

I prefer Danai over Lupita. She has a… tougher presence onscreen and she's a good actress (see: Mother of George/The Visitor).

That said, Lupita has a certain popularity that Marvel, probably, won't resist.

I prefer Lupita as Shuri and Danai is a Milaje. They're both tough but in different ways (a Dora has more edge, whereas the Princess is more regal). And Lupita looks like she could be related to Chadwick, not so much Danai.

I don't think Ororo's exclusion from the BP solo hurts the solo at all. The BP-verse has a good amount of great female characters. Ororo not being in the film means there is now more screen time for the other characters.

As someone previously mentioned, the only person it really hurts is Ororo as a character, being that she will always be a background character in the Fox-men films.

But definitely Peter Mensah should play T'Challa but if he isn't cast as T'Challa then I can see him as S'yan too but I am sure they will probably cast Ernie Hudson as T'Challa because it has been heavily rumored by Marvel and not to mention Ernie Hudson I think he would be great as Chadwick's father
