Looking great, I have to say I'm pretty disappointed with what I'm seeing in the costume design dept though. Especially knowing the original designer Michael Kaplan is still working. The original had a great mixture of time periods and futurism mixed together...so far this looks way too current for me. It just feels off.

I've seen a lot of people complaining about how it doesn't look as overcrowded and sparse compared to the first movie but that is because most of the humans have probably gone to the off world colonies.

For those who are complaining, again, it's instant opinions with no weight.

HALF of the scenes that have been shown have in Vegas or outside LA. We haven't seen too much of the street level yet, so those folks can eat it.

Saw the new trailer with Alien: Covenant last night.

I like that they brought back the Spinners (the flying cop cars) from the 82 film back in this one I loved those!

Can't wait for that, I saw guardians of the galaxy tonight and was hoping they'd slip in it with the rest of the trailers for dunkirk etc. But nope, tbh I was kinda more excited about seeing the trailer than the movie...grr.

Speaking of the spinners, lets talk about officer ks car for a second. Seeing as how he is a cop/blade runner. It seems odd his car seems to be an unmarked non police vehicle. No blue/red siren lights, markings, id # like in the past. To me it feels very much like a personal vehicle, or maybe he wants to keep a low profile. His spinner does not scream police/cop/LAPD to me...at least not its exterior. Even though there is LAPD markings on its interior or the readout screen. I'm not saying I don't like it...in fact if they released a model kit/collectible figure i'd buy it pretty quick.

One thing I noticed is that in their scene on the rooftop, though they come close, they never actually touch. I'm starting to wonder if she's even real at all or perhaps maybe she's a memory of someone he lost that keeps haunting him.

Interesting thought, but imo I think its been made clear she is at least physical in some form. There has been numerous shots of her with officer K, whether it's in his passenger seat or apartment. The scene imples heavy sexual tension between them. Yeah yeah they come close. But really now..based on the scene how can they not. The concept art states simply that they share a moment. They might not touch in the trailer but oh I bet they definitely do some touchy touch. And it makes sense his character needs some emotional involvement that is outside of his own self.

They don't need to spoil everything...I think this trailer revealed enough character plot. I think her character is a replicant but is blurring the lines between being real, being a dozen things at once. Whether its an advertisement, pleasure model, who knows what else. But there is a reason why officer K says things were simpler then. True mankind is running thin and probably can't survive anymore without artificial involvement. But it is becoming less clear who is a replicant and who is not.

However I wouldn't be bummed if she was all in his mind, there's an interesting story there if done right.

Aside from "Star Wars" where he's running down the halls of the Death Star, he's always been an awkward runner. Check out "Raiders" when he's trying to track down Marion.

^ Yeah, I pointed out the same thing when TFA came out and someone made a similar comment. I'd just rewatched The Fugitive and he was running the same way then.
