It's such a shame what happened to her. She was so promising, after looking at her filmography in the 80's as this dreamy doe eyed girl. Later, only to be known as crazy lady who wanted to be Catwoman, and the now offensive villain of Ace Ventura. That scene when the twist is revealed in Ace Ventura, and the underwear scene (accompanied by the Crying Game song) was such a career low for her.

I liked the fact Deckard spent most of the first movie getting his ass kicked and barely survived.

Rick was a bad Blade Runner, and now he's patting himself on the back as an old man.

He was good at finding the replicants but he was terrible at killing them.

I would actually hate that. Maybe it'd make more sense since she's a replicant but she was played by a real person and Sean Young is still alive. Just don't include her. I'm sure we'll get an idea of what happened to her from Deckerd.

I just saw the trailer. **** me, it was beautiful. It looks just like the first film, a lot like Rogue One captures the Star Wars look. That is amazing. And that music...

Also going to get Ford as Han, Indy and Deckard one last time. I dreamed and dream and it came true.

Was I ****ing wrong. Villenueve, I could kiss you. With that first shot as gorgeous as it was, I lost spirit. Villenueve is trying to copy and pay too much respect. But once it cut to that desert shot I was wowed. Talk about polar opposites. There's even a different color! It has me intrigued. Where is this place he's walking? What has happened since then? Is K a replicant? What is the thing that K needs Deckard's help with? It still sounds like a detective film which is great. So far, this looks to be how one should go about reviving a classic movie. I'm glad it's not yet another, "Blade Runner must hunt replicants" story. It's brand new but still is a detective movie.

2017 so far looks to be a more promising year of film.

I love that they used blade runner score for the trailer. I hope they are planning to have a similar score for the new film. The first film just wouldnt be the same without the sound and mood Vangelis provided.

I really liked the synth sounds before the Vagenlis' score begins to play. I hope they'll be in the actual score, they sound so raw and weird and fabricated, another great match of the music with the material.

At first I thought it was the building Deckard and Batty had their confrontation but I don't think it is. I also realized that interior looks pristine. Untouched. What a contrast to the dingy, down trodden look of the last film.

What I love about this is that this looks like it's trying to be its own movie where you don't need to see the last film to be interested in it. It looks like a sci fi mystery film where Ryan Gosling seeks out this old detective who is Harrison Ford to help him and the two have to team up. Not "''Member Blade Runner?" It's not a movie about Blade Runner like Rogue One is a movie about Star Wars. I thought before nobody would give a **** about a Blade Runner sequel, but with it looking like this, maybe it has a bigger chance. I don't think this will be a billion dollar movie though, but it could do better than whats expected of it. Hopefully it's R rated as that means a lower budget which means it will take more chances.

Drew McWeeny says the movie has a really weird and out there story than anybody is thinking right now. Which is ****ing great. Because it looks that way so far. They're trying to do something serious and adult. Not a Blade Runner copy with modern special effects like I feared it would be.

Can anyone tell me, if Deckard is visibly older...does that mean he's human, or just a special version of a Replicant? Didn't Scott express that he is also a replicant?

I think Villenueve said they're not going to explain it. Which is a relief because that wasn't the point of the original film, just something in the background, a piece apart of a larger whole that helped tell the thematics.

It seems Villenueve gets it. He seems to be self aware and not letting his fandom get in the way of telling a great story first.

Scott said Replicant, Ford said human. I don't remember if Replicants were suppose to age or not, but if he is one, that is a long expiration date he has.

Visuals and atmosphere were the key ingredients of the first film and they seem to have captured that.

That would be some twist. A replicant with the memories of the original Deckard?


Maybe the old Deckard makes some mistakes in his memory. It leaves you guessing if it's just due to old age or damaged memories from the replicant
