At its very worst I can put this film on mute and be assured of Deakins' cyberpunk goodness. I can't believe we're going to see sci-fi done by him. The budget better be significant so they can fully bring this world to life.

Man I hope we get a beautiful sequence like the scene in Sicario when they take a convoy across the border into "The Beast". Such a tense sequence - it was like I was right there with them!

Then you'd know this man hasn't made a bad movie yet. Maelstrom, Polytechnique, Incendies, Enemy, Prisoners and Sicario. That's one heck of run. People just focus on Prisoners and Sicario because it's more mainstream.

Ive heard a few people say that it's bad and they're fools. I know this place is fond of RT scores and 'Sicario' is his highest rated movie to date at 93% "Fresh". Now me personally I think Polytechnique or Incendies is his best movie to date.

I don't typically put artists on a pedestal of infallibility. I'm sure it'll be good, I'm just more confident Deakins will actually deliver on the promise and expectation for his part.

I agree, probably a replicant. A few weeks ago there was word that Gal Gadot was wanted for a role, but couldn't take it due to her DC movie schedule. I'm guessing this is that role.
