Commando will probably be my first character.

Maya or Zero would probably be my first pick.

One question I do have.. after the end of the first game why is the trailer still asking for vault hunters?

I mean ...
the vault was a sham and just a prison.

Probably some ulterior motive.

Because that's what Handsome Jack, the antagonist, does. He looks for vault hunters and then has them fight in some kind of arena. It was in the Game Informer article

Hadn't been paying attention to this for a bit, but holy **** all the classes look and sound pretty badass. I probably won't play the Gunzerker class since I never play the big dudes, but I can't decide between the other three which one I'll try first. Really liking what I'm seeing here.

The irony of calling the gunzerker the "big dude" lol you'll find out when you'll get the game I guess.

Fine, the chunky dude then.

I'll probably play Gunserker first. He totally suits my Borderlands playstyle and he seems like how I wish the B 1 Berserker had actually played.

Borderlands 2 is a hybridized beast of mechanics, play styles and audience potentials, all wrapped up in one cel-shaded package (now with green!). The sequel builds upon feedback from 2009's Borderlands, tweaking many aspects of single-player mode, streamlining co-op skill sets and building new character designs, writer Anthony Burch and concept designer Scott Kester from Gearbox told Joystiq.

One of the most prevalent changes players will notice in Borderlands 2 is the skill-tree functionality in co-op mode. Instead of simply beating down enemies separately but at the same time, as often happened in Borderlands, there will be more synergy between each character's abilities, Kester and Burch said.

For example, the Siren's phaselock abilities have been fine-tuned to include the "sweet release" kill skill, which insta-heals every member of her party if she kills an enemy frozen in phaselock. Additionally, the Assassin can execute enemies in the Siren's phaselock relatively easily with his melee or sniping moves, and the Commando will be able to throw down a bubble shield to protect the entire team. The Gunzerker is nuanced as well, including a skill that ramps up the power in the last shot of his gun's magazine, and if an enemy is killed with an excess amount of force, the extra points are converted to health. He can also dual-wield any weapon, which is awesome for everyone. Except the guys he's shooting at. Continue Reading

Sorry if it's already been mentioned, but if anyone was digging the hell out of the sick track played during the last trailer, I just found out it's Doomsday, by Nero.

 When Gearbox isn't working on or promoting Duke Nukem they are an awesome company with a great sense of humor.

What do you mean? Gearbox had a great sense of humor just for putting out Duke Nukem.

^ Awesome. I was hoping we'd get a view of B2 at PAX east.
