Were the Commando's THIS fun in the first game? Because I'm having a bloody blast with him in this one. I only played as Brick in the first Borderlands.

I haven't played Commando yet but I doubt it, they really did a good job with the skills this time around and the turret looks to be way more badass. The turret in the first game could only shoot in one direction and it had a tiny shield hahah.

Roland was definitely fun but he was a class lower then Axton. He was just a soilder class former merc you upGraded to commando and others in in the first one but he never did the double turrets thing. and he was mostly set as support. May he can do it now. But back then he couldn't.

I had a question, picked up the game yesterday from a pre-order and noticed there's a season pass option for all the DLC's coming out. Since I pre-ordered though I get the first DLC free already, so the $10 discount I'd get with the season pass doesn't really matter right? Or is the pre-order DLC outside of the Season Pass DLC?

I was picking this up for the pc but i chose to get the Goty. I know that's a long time from now. but i'll save money on the DLc. I went out on ME series more then once with collectors. umm sorry i wish i can help you man.

I may actually get the Season Pass. Really enjoyed all of the BL1 dlc.

I managed to get the game + season pass for about $62 total... so I essentially bought the GOTY edition now.

Anyway I don't think the Mechromancer is included in the season pass, but if she's not it's still a $10 savings without her. You don't have to spring for it now by the way, I'm sure it'll still be up when all the DLC is out so you can see if you want them all for a reduced cost or you can pick and choose.

I'm holding off on buying the season pass, wondering if Steam might discount it at some point, but I'll probably cave as soon as the first DLC is revealed.

Every month they have a 20% or 25% off anything coupon, and it stacked with a 10% off pre-order for BL2. For the season pass they had a special coupon that knocked the price down to $22.50 hahah, PC MASTER RACE!! I get all my gamedeal news from here.

Borderlands 2 'Torgue' expansion turns up on The Workshop resumes

Borderlands 2 promises four bits of DLC by June, and one of those may very well be based on the game's Torgue weapons manufacturer. A "Torgue" expansion is listed on a few resumes from The Workshop Entertainment, the studio behind PS3 Move's Sorcery, as spotted by Superannuation.

A level designer lists the Torgue expansion for Borderlands 2 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC and a former senior level designer (through August 2012) lists "unannounced DLC" for those three platforms. Superannuation notes a current animator also includes the Torgue DLC listing on his resume, but that has since been taken offline.

Another Workshop level designer describes one piece of unannounced DLC as an "expansion for a highly successful triple-A FPS," and with more than 10 hours of gameplay.

How do you join up to Shift? I can't find it on the Gearbox website.

It should be at the main menu under "Extras". I never got my extra key but I've heard other people have.

I unlocked a badass AR with my second gold key... I've yet to find a gun that I would replace it with. Only negative is that it's slow on the reload...but I drop my turret... Reload and go again.

I'm loving this game. Since I never played BL1 I'm a bit confused about how skill tree unlocks work and stuff, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of that.

Is it better to just pick one skill tree and max it out rather than mix skill trees for this game? It seems like you need to max out each skill before the next unlocks, which is kind of weird to me because you can't mix and match skill trees effectively in that way. So, basically, as a Gunzerker (my class) it seems like I have to just make a choice on whether I want to be a tank character, a guns character, or a rampage character.

Which would kinda suck a little.

Question, if you start a game and play by yourself, can you take ur character into anthers co-op game?

Yes, It did so in the last game. It should be no different now. if you have a character you playing as in the single play if your using that same one you can do co-op with that same one and the same goes if you create another(a different one or the same) character your leveling up too
